Thoughts on dragons Exalted Milotic for engine and PB Suicune for EX counter?

DE Milotic has a 1 energy attack allowing you to search for any three cards your deck. This is seems like it would be a perfect setup card. But you do have to evolve up to milotic and have it active and you'll likely be giving it up as a prize later on unless you switch or scoop it. Despite these drawbacks it's search attack is undeniably versatile, any three cards just blows away most setup cards. Do you guys think it's viable for a deck, competitive or otherwise?

Plasma blast Suicune has the safeguard ability making it a natural EX counter. It's attack can deal 2 for 70 with double colorless, but it will take 3 hits to KO an Ex, and by then your opponent will have had ample time to switch out. Do you think it's a useful EX counter?

RE: Thoughts on dragons Exated Milotic for engine power?

In terms of the competitive scene, it would be good if -
-Feebas didn't have 30HP
-Milotic wasn't Stage 1
-Tropical Beach wasn't a thing.

We have things in format that search out or give great draw power like Beach, Bicycle, and even Juniper. If you search out three cards and end your turn there, you're almost certain to be N'd out of it straight away. As much as I actually do like that Milotic card, in this format it just doesn't work. Which is a shame - in any other format without EXs it'd more than likely be a really viable support card. Of course, you'd need to pray you don't start lone Feebas and you can have it benched with a Mr Mime.

Thanks, I personally don't play competitively in official tournaments, mostly just against my friends. I was thinking about ordering a set from stop2shop because they're a dollar each which seems good to me. My friends and I play unlimited format, so I was thinking about using the great encounters feebas that can search out an evolution.

You'd be best off with an EX Hidden Legends Feebas because it has Ascension, meaning you search and evolve instead of just searching for an evolution. Having evolutions in the current format is risky, but I'm sure it'd be alright for unlimited.

I think Plasma Blast Suicune is only around as a Fire counter, because of the rising popularity of Grass decks and thus Fire counter-decks. It's not that great otherwise.
