So...what to make of this Cradily that has now officially hit the format. Will it change the game or just be another card with a great move that is never used.
I had a deck in mind that uses it, but I was wondering what everyone else is thinking about this card.

For the record, my deck has 4-4 Cradily, 2 Hydreigon (NV), 2 Hydreigon (DrE), 2 Dusknoir (BC), 2 Darkrai EX and a Tornadus EX (PLF).

For those of you that dont know, heres the Cradily.

It might be fun with vilplume BC and leavanny NV

Or maybe hydreigon NV and gardevoir NXD

Still I dont know how much it will work in competitive play

I agree. It won't be seeing much competitive play but i think it could work well at prereleases and some a Fun decks.

It can make a very fun toolbox deck but it is too inconsistent for tournament play.

You are still too slow for this format, Cradily.

For this bad format that will hopefully disappear fast

it could work well if it was not a fossil pokemon . maybe

The league I attend, the owner has a deck based around and he destroys everyone. I think it works out well

Gardevoir only doubles BASIC [P] Energy attached to [P] Pokémon, so it will still require 4 Energy.

tried it in the pre release today, but i was super dumb and didnt have any other pokemon stage 2, and didnt notice that cradilly is sucky and counts as stage 1 for being fossil. :/
I already dislike the card (still got third though with a deck that was built around something it couldnt even do)

Even still, EXs aren't going anywhere which makes this card near unplayable

For fun in Unlimited, not for competetive play:

15 Grass Energy

4-4 Cradily (Prehistoric Lileep)
4 Virizion Ex
2 Meganium (Energy Trans)
3 Sceptile (Wild Growth)
4 Torterra (Green Blast)

4 Professor Oak's Visit - Draw 3 cards. Then choose a card from your hand and put it on the bottom of your deck.
4 Skyla
2 Fossil Excavator - Search your deck or your discard pile for a Trainer card that has Fossil in its name or a Stage 1 or a Stage 2 Evolution card that evolves from a Fossil. Show it to your opponent and put it into your hand. If you searched your deck, shuffle your deck afterward.
2 N

2 Professor Oak (Juniper, but not a supporter)
4 Ultra Ball

4 Root Fossil Lileep

2 Miasma Valley - Whenever any player puts a Basic Pokemon (excluding G or P Pokemon) from his or her hand onto his or her Bench, put 2 damage counters on that Pokemon.

Thoughts?
