TIME Brands Men 'Obsolete'

I mean some feminists, I have heard some really daft things from some on chat shows.

A group of ladies were complaining, that £5 notes here in the UK, should only have woman on. They said if they don't it makes young woman feel insecure about themselves saying how can they get anywhere in life. I can't remember the full interview, but it was the most ridiculous thing I have ever watched, and heard.

Obviously that's stupid. That's not equal rights for women, that's women > men, which, admittedly, is no where near as common as the idea that men > women. You really have to be careful about saying that you hate any certain group of people, because more often than not, the majority is not as crazy as a few may be. For instance, Joseph Gordon-Levitt declares himself as a feminist, and he is absolutely a prime example of a good feminist, or rather, like I said before, equalist (a word that means "equal place in society" is yet to arrive), who believes that women are seen as decoration to men in such things as football, where men get to be the awe-inspiring athletes and women get to be decoration on the sidelines as cheerleaders. When I first saw the ads for the movies I was actually thinking that he was playing a character that was very much a misogynist, and continuing the stream of ignoring the double-standards that are perpetuated by people (characters) such as him, but now I see how brilliant he was for capturing that character and recognizing the problems with people like him in society, as well as the women who go along with it and add to it by objectifying themselves (men and women have equal responsibility for all of this non-equalism, in my opinion). For the full interview, and I highly suggest you and everyone watch this, here's the link. The term feminist will stick around I think until something more appropriate terms gain traction as the "hot word" when referring to both genders' equal places in society. Just never, ever say that you hate an entire group of people. Feminazis (equal rights to them seem to equal women > men) are insane, yes, but most people who consider themselves as feminists (most choose not to identify with that word, actually, because of all the crazies.

There was a poll in the past few years that asked hundreds of people if they considered themselves feminists, and people are legitimately scared of the word, because they're afraid to be labeled and clumped into the minority of feminazis, so you get a lot of people saying, rightfully, "I'm not a feminist, but I do believe in equal rights" which is what feminism used to be about before, once again, the feminazis) are people who believe in not only equal rights, but equal places in society. Unlike equal rights in work, politics, etc., equal places in society is something a lot more difficult to gauge, and something that can't be changed by a simple "women can have this job too" or "you both get paid the same amount" like can be done with equal opportunities in the workplace.

God, my brain is fried...

I know, I did say some. No one can hate a whole group of people, only rather a small minority. I agree with their values, because it's right men and woman should be equal.

Probably just a feminist, I hate those.
Then you really have to make it obvious that you're talking about the minority here, or else you could come across as something you're not. c:
