To peel, or not to peel?

Hi, all. I have 9 sheets from the Vending series 2 and 9 sheets from Vending series 3 that I got a few years ago- back before I was really into collecting stuff. I peeled them all (including the damage counters- why god did i do that...stupid 15 year old me)

I've been contemplating getting the rest of the sets, but when you guys who also collect the vending series, how do you peel? (Or do you not? Or do you buy one set for peeling and another to just keep as it is?) Or do you just buy the complete sets from somebody already in 9-card sheets?

isnt their some really rare card that can possible come out of the vending series that is holo or something?

What is this? What are you peeling?

As far as I know, the vending machine cards in Japan came on a sheet. You could pull off (or "peel") these cards. Think of candy buttons, only replace those with cards.

Only the mail in promo cards (Machamp, Gengar, Alakazam, Omastar, and Golem) are holographic, and you cannot find them in vending sheets. You would have to buy them separately. The cards on the sheets, though, are glossy.

none of the vending series from 1 2 or 3 have a holo card all the cards are glossy looking

wasnt their an articuno released that was holo?

I use to peel these things alot and hear of a rare holo being uncovered in them. I know it wasnt the Masaki cards. It might just be a rare card period and not holo, dont recall.

the articuno, moltres, zapdos holos are alternates from the vending machine series,
they were packed into a japanese begining starter deck gift box.
