Ruling TOHO

This has been bugging me for a while now, but I just can't get my head around it.
On the Japanese scans, all the cards seem to have TOHO written between their name and HP.

Can anyone tell me what this is, or what it's for?

Cheers =]

Besides being a film company, they also control the TCG franchise as well. I'm not entirely sure, so please correct if I'm wrong.

EDIT: Ignore me completely.

Wow, way off. Toho (the film company) has zero association with Pokemon.

Toho is the nickname of the person that scans the cards.

Darn. Now I wish I didn't post. TOHO has small association with Pokemon, though, seeing how it filmed some of its movies.

Yeah, I was always curious about that.

I actually thought that it was something like delta species or something, but I guess I was wrong. ;)

So that means they won't be on the regular cards. :)
Right, lol? :p

They are the first ones out with the Japanese scans and so PB has to give TOHO credit for using their scans...which is why you don't see TOHO on the actual cards, it is put on their by TYPING TOHO!
