Pokemon
  • 3 Porygon - PLB
  • 3 Porygon-Z - PLB
  • 1 Genesect EX - PLB
  • 2 Virizion EX - PLB
  • 3 Tornadus EX - PLF

Trainers
  • 3 Professor Juniper
  • 2 Shadow Triad
  • 3 Shauna
  • 3 Skyla
  • 3 N
  • 1 Master Ball
  • 3 Colress Machine
  • 2 Tool Scrapper
  • 3 Muscle Band
  • 2 Plasma Ball
  • 3 Rare Candy
  • 3 Max Potion
  • 3 Ultra Ball
  • 2 Frozen City

Energy
  • 8 Grass
  • 4 Plasma

Strategy
- Get Tornadus-EX as your main and use Windfall for draw power to setup
- Bench Porygon-Z, Virizion-EX, Genesect-EX by turn 2-3
- Move Plasma Energy to Tornadus-EX to attack for higher damage
- When Tornadus-EX is damage, move all Plasma Energy off him, and use a Max potion, then move it back to him
- If needed attach Plasma energy to the benched Genesect-EX first for the catcher effect then move it to the main attacker
- Power up either a Genesect-EX or even a Deoxys-EX as a backup attacker

Weakness
- Hard to setup
- Enhance Hammer (without Thunderos-EX, cant get back the Plasma), except to waste a Supporter aka Shadow Triad
- Ballons

any suggestion how to improve this idea will be appreciated :)

Um, just wondering, but where are your Tornadus EX that you attack with? I don't see them in your list.

Hi reshwindblade,

The deck did not have Tornadus Ex in the list. I assume that you want a colorless version of Trans decks. This is what I would do:

POKEMON (12):
  • 3 Porygon - PLB
  • 3 Porygon-Z - PLB
  • 3 Thornadus EX - PLF
  • 3 Virizion Ex - PLB

Trainers (36):
  • 3 Professor Juniper
  • 2 Shadow Triad
  • 3 Shauna
  • 3 Skyla
  • 3 N
  • 1 Dowsing Maschine
  • 3 Colress Machine
  • 2 Tool Scrapper
  • 3 Muscle Band
  • 2 Plasma Ball
  • 3 Rare Candy
  • 3 Max Potion
  • 3 Ultra Ball
  • 2 Frozen City

Energy (12)
  • 4 Plasma
  • 8 Grass

Added more draw cards to obtain the needed trainers and Pokémon faster. Colress Maschine should be more since the deck needs accelleration to combat. Virizion Ex is also a decent starter and handles status conditions to ensure that Tornadus Ex can attack each turn.

Also included two trainers from the new set. Muscle Band allows Tornadus Ex to ohko most Pokémon Ex in the format with three Plasma attached. It also frees deck space and makes the deck less reliant to Deoxy Ex. Two Max Potion should be sufficient because a lot of decks can ohko now.

Shadow Triad can get lost Plasma cards back from the discard, incl. Plasma Energy. Thus I added two of them. Dowsing Maschine to make the deck a little more versatile. It can take back any trainer card from the discard pile.

Hope this provides some initial assistance.

+3 Tornadus EX (Plasma)

- This what I get for typing at 2 am in the morning half asleep, my bad. Apologize for that. Thanks for pointing it out

I agree with your points, but just wanted to ask, so you think Genesect-EX for the "Catcher" effect is not worth it to even have 1 in the deck?

Hi reshwindblade,

One tech is in fact real nice with Porygon Z in the deck but the deck will loose some energy acceleration in this manner. Consider one less Max Potion or one less Ultra Ball for a tech Genesect Ex. Once Pal Pad is released as a Promo also tech one in to retrieve lost supporters. It is an item card that can return two supporters of your choice to your deck.

This is a deck in competitive play, however they include Tropical beach (usually 1 to 2 copies) and Dialga EX PLB (so that you can Fast Forward Cards off their deck)

This deck is a bit clunky when you don't have beach but it can be played since Tornadus EX does have windfall

Yea thanks, so far from my test, having 4x Max Potion doesn't really help since I only use 1-2 per match. So I might consider doing what you just said about removing 1 less Max Potion. I will also be removing 1 Ultra Ball for Mr Mime and Genesect EX as a tech. I included Mr Mime because from my testing so far, people are snipping the bench to kill Porygon.

I like the idea of Dialga EX PLB ( also since I have a nice full art one I want to use :p ) however I seriously think Tropical Beach is overrated, as it not only helps you setup but also your opponent. I do have 2 beaches, however I am trying not to include it for now as I lost couple of games before due to helping my opponent setup.
