ToxiTank

I just got back into the Pokemon TCG after dropping out around Rising Rivals. I've noticed that a lot has changed since then. So, this is me trying to get back into how things work, with one of my all time favorite types of decks: ToxiTank.

Pokemon(19)
4 Toxicroak G
4 Skuntank
3 Crobat G
1-1 Dialga G Lv. X
2 Bronzong G
2-2 Uxie Lv. X

Trainers(15)
3 Switch
3 Poke Turn
3 Energy Gain
3 SP Radar
1 Luxury Ball
2 Level Max

Supporters(12)
3 PONT
4 Cyru's Conspiracy
2 Lucian's Assignment
3 Pokemon Collector

Stadiums(6)
3 Snowpoint Temple
3 Galactic HQ

Energy(8)
8 {P}

Anyway, what I basically need help with is combating metagame. I would feel fairly confident going up against a Gyarados, Vilegar, and to some extent a Lostgar, but BLG and Luxchomp seem like they would be a really mean match. Any help?

The strategy is poisen with Skuntank and then do extra with Toxitank.

Oh how far this deck has fallen (though it wasn't too great once RR was released). Toxitanks G-dos match-up has always been a bad one, and now G-dos has alot more recovery options and can easily reach the 110 dmg mark. The only way you could possibly win is to slow them down by countering their BTS with your own stadium. As of right now if you were to face any SP decks, you would pretty much lose as the only "realiable" way to poison the opponent would be to use Crobat G which would lead to quit a few easy prizes for your opponent which is something you don't want.

-3 Skuntank G (4 is just simply overkill)
-2 Toxicroak G
-1 Crobat G
-1 Bronzong G
-2 Level Max
-2 Lucian's Assignment (this is what Bronzong G is here for)
-5 {P} Energy
-1 GHQ
-1 Snowpoint Temple
-1 Switch
(-12)

+1 Dialga G (trying to turn this into a Dialga G SP toolbox sort-of deck so you don't flat out lose to SP)
+1 Toxicroak G promo (you already run {P} energy. Make's a nice revenge attacker)
+1 Azelf LA
+1 Unown Q (incase of Uxis/Azelf starts)
+3 Energy Gain
+1 Poke Turn
+1 Bebe's Search (incase under trainer lock so you have some form of search power for any lvX's)
+2 Aaron's Collection (recovery)
+4 special {M} Energy
+1 Basic {M} Energy
+2 Double Colorless Energy (gets DGX charged faster as well as allowing you to use Uxie lvX to attack if needed)

If anything i would just drop the entire Toxitank line, drop the {P} energy down to 1 reduce a few of your techs and add 4 DCE and a 2-2 Garchomp C lvX which would then chage your deck into a Dialgachomp deck (quite a contender in todays metagame) though that would completely change your deck and i don't know whether you would be happy with that or not, but, bottom-line is that Toxitank cannot function as a deck anymore in todays meta, it's best used as a 1/1 tech line at most and that's only if Machamp SF is common in your area.

Actually, it turns out when I generated my decklist, it didn't add in the Energy Gain. I had those in there already. But yeah, I didn't really have high hopes for a toxitank in new Meta, but I was trying to work with something I knew. I'll probably just drop this one all together. Thanks anyway, though.
