Troubles with connecting to Wi-Fi

I have been using a Wi-Fi USB for awhile now and just today I have started having problems with it.

I tryed connecting to it and it works for a few seconds goes to 0 bars back to 3 bars then to 0 again and then says failed to connnect, any suggestions on why its doing this?
 
Ok, i'l probably get a warning for mini moding, but this is like the farthest away from the thread it needs to be in then possible.
 
Sorry, I wasnt really sure where this would go and this seemed like it would work here since its Game Corner,but then again I could be wrong.
 
Try reinstalling the USB connector thingy, moving your DS closer, restarting your computer, all that goood jazz.

Do you have a router? (if you have a Laptop) If you do you shouldn't have a problem.
 
Yea if you have a Router all I did was just insert the WEP code and the IP code and it then worked fine.
 
You don't understand, the thing he is talking about is a device made by nintendo to give people without routers WiFi for their Wiis and DSs.
Also the USB thing sucks, for around the same price of buying one, you can get a decent router. (I Recommend Belkin, since that's the kind I use.)
Plus Routers give Wi-Fi for more than just Wiis and DSs. (Do I have to list them all?)
