Hey all! So I am new to the forums and relatively new to the pokemon card game. I recently have started playing the online variant, whereby I can test a variety of decks that I was hoping to make. Here is a Ttar deck I have been working on and I would love some feedback.

Pokemon:

4-2-3 Ttar line
3-1-3 Hydreigon line
cleffa
2x kyurem (donphan counter)
unknown dark

Trainers:

2x N
3x Collector
2x Juniper
3x twins
2x switch
3x rare candy
2x catcher
4x communication
2x max potion
3x junk arm

Energy

4x sp dark
3x rainbow
dark
4x dce

Any tips or suggestions that could be made? The point of the deck is to darkness howl and set up for further bench destruction with glaciate and hydreigon.

I understand completely that the main purpose is sniping. But the problem I see is that it's pretty hard to get all three pokemon fully loaded out. In my opinion, you should take out the T-tar line, because it is hurting your Kyurem and it is only doing 20 damage. Now you have 9 cards remaining. Also take out max potion, because healing pokemon that need a lot of energies is great, but since max potion has you discard the enrgies, it just saves you one turn before you get Koed. now you have 11 extra cards. Add another Zwealous and Deino so it's 4-2-3, and add 3 or 4 basic dark energies. Take out the rainbows for water energies because think about it- Hydreigon already makes the energies dark, so you don't need to put damage on your pokemon with double. Put in another cleffa or pichu. Add 1 or 2 energy exchangers, because you need 2 double colorless to get hydreigon with all its energies out turn 2. If you want more speed you could always use a Pachi/Shaymin strategy to make lightning energies dark. Then you would put 2 pachis and 2 shaymins and you would have 4 lightning energies instead of basic darkness energies. You would take out the unown dark if you were going for this approach. This approach would be faster because you could set up all the hydreigons faster in one turn. Take out N and put in Professor Oaks New Theory, because it allows you to always draw 6 cards. Take 1 juniper for a Fisherman or a super rod (either is fine, but I prefer super rod.) and take out the other juniper for another collector because of Pachirisu and Shaymin. Also, take out the twins for Rocky helmets because it puts extra damage on your opponents active pokemon when the attack you. You can leave 1 twins in and have 2 rocky helmets, because you can always junk arm for them. You could add a recue energy, but its not necessary. Good luck with the deck, and i hope i helped. :)

^Rogue Chomp, you really think outside the box (Not as an insult, or a compliment, just putin it out there).

On topic, I think that this is the perfect deck to run eviolite in. Also, keep max potion in because you only need one energy to darkness howl. If you want to win by ultimate sreading, you may want to run lunatone and solrock to top them from blisseying. I also bring to attentioon that you run no shuffle supporters. I personally would drop 2 juniper for 2 pont.

Hey guys thanks for the reply!

I will definitely try both options and see which provides better results...I would love to keep the hydreigon line in, but its definitely been a low upkeep against all the basic rush and zekron decks I have faced.

I was thinking of changing the decklist to incorporate weavile's hand disruption since the mass spread of damage on the bench apparently isn't as stable as I would like it to be...

Heres an idea for a refurbished deck using that concept:

Pokemon
4 Larvitar
2 Pupitar
4 Tyranitar Prime
4 Sneasel
2 Weavile
1 Jirachi
1 Shaymin
1-1 Darkrai & Cresselia Legend
1 Cleffa

Trainers
4 Pokemon Collector
2 Twins
4 Professor Oak’s New Theory
3 Sage’s Training
2 Professor Juniper
1 Switch
2 Junk Arm
1 Max Potion
4 Rare Candy
4 Pokemon Communication
1 Flower Shop Lady

Energy
4 Darkness (Special)
2 Darkness (Basic)
3 Double Colorless
2 Psychic

go with this or continue to rework the original idea?

This is good, but not the same strategy. I would suggest ppstimg a seperate thread for it. This strategy is pretty good, but some parts of the list are off imo. Your weavile line should NOT be 4-2. It should be more like 2-2 or 3-3. Next, run a few ssu with weavile. Last, keep kyurem, as this decklist has NO chance against donphan. I hope my suggestions have helped.
