Ok does anyone else find it ridiculous that there is not one viable regidrago partner in a set called paradise dragona

Unfortunately no Kommo-o this time around. Directly after Turtonator is Applin, so there's no room for poor Jangmo-o

They always skip kommo-o. It's going on 5 years since kommo-o's last card. Also the haxorus we got a little bit ago should have been kommo-o.

Oh! I hadn't even considered potentially tera future/past Pokémon. Wonder if they'll do that?

Highly unlikely. Having a Tera paradox pokémon? I can see that. But not a Tera with Ancient/Future tags. It would have TOO MUCH support.
