Typhlosion/Flareon(States, Masters)

My sister want to start playing Pokemon. The only thing is that she is 2 years older than me so she is a Master. She wanted to make a deck with fire Pokemon because they are her favorite type... so here it is.
Pokemon:18
4-2-2/2 Typlosion HGSS/Prime
2-1/1 Flareon RR/UD
1-1 Ninetails HGSS
2 Uxie
T/S/S:27
2 PETM
2 PONT
2 Copycat
3 Judge
1 Bebe's Search
1 Twins
1 Black Belt
2 Cynthia's Feelings
2 Pokemon Collector
2 Junk Arm
2 Dual Ball
3 Rare Candy
4 Pokedex PT
Energy:15
1 DCE
1 Cyclone
4 Rescue
9 Fire

The Deck is simple. Get Typhlosion Prime out and either the other Typhlosion out or Flareon and start doing a lot of damage each turn. Nine tails and Uxie are for draw power. I HAVE NO BTS! but I will get some really soon. Cyclone and DCE are in there because my sister likes the cards -__-

It works well. It's fast, Disruptive, and fun to play.

I would do this to the energy:
1 DCE
2 Cyclone
2 Rescue
10 Fire

same energy count, more consistently draw the fire energy you need, and more disruptive.

drop a rare candy because then either a candy or quilava becomes a dead draw. swap out the dual ball, it's too flippy, maybe with pokemon communication, it combos really well with collector.

that's all I've got so far. I'm sure there's lots more to suggest, but I'm not sure what she would want to part with as far as the pokemon themselves go. and is this for league, or states? if it's for states, she'll have to open it up to make it more competative. as in Charizard to be the attacker that way u can be fine with only 5 fire, and then the strategy goes to less of a disrupt, and more to heavy damage.

Ok....If this is a deck for states....we got some work to do
First here is my list:

Pokemon:
4-2-4 Typhlosion (2 HGSS/2 Prime)
2-2 Ninetales (Roast Reveal)
2 Uxie
1 Azelf
2-2 Flareon MD or 2-2 Houndoom LA (i recommend either unduanted eevee from undaunted or rising rivals. And i recommend the LA houdour)

Trainers:
2-3 Pokemon Collector
3 Interviewers Questions
1 Luxury Ball
3 Bebe's Search
2 Pokemon Communication
3-4 Rare Candy (highly on the 4 side for rare candy)

Energy:
8-11 Fire
4 Double Colorless (use on non-prime typhlosion mostly)

Open Space: Around 10
What Might To Add?
2-3 Expert Belt
1 Heat Rotom (if expert belt was added) or Luxray GL (if luxray add 2 lightning energy with the level x being optional)
2-3 Copycat
2-3 Broken Time Space
1-1 Bronzong SF
2 Fishermen
1 Palmers

Thats My List At Typhlosion + Stage 1. Hope It Helped :)

If you are only running this deck because it's fire, why not run Charizard Swarm? With maxed out Charizard and Ninetales lines as well as hopefully some other fire type techs, Charizard can now be more consistent with the addition of Seeker to pick up Uxies and Azelves.

As for this deck, I would remove the Black Belt, maybe add some Slugma/Slugma + Magcargo UD.

2 PETM
2 PONT
2 Copycat
3 Judge
1 Bebe's Search
1 Twins
1 Black Belt
2 Cynthia's Feelings
2 Pokemon Collector
2 Junk Arm
2 Dual Ball
3 Rare Candy
4 Pokedex PT
Energy:15
1 DCE
1 Cyclone
4 Rescue
9 Fire

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sorry, what is PETM, after you tell me I can maybe suggest more but for now,
1) Cut back on Trainers especialy if her area has lots of gengars
2) Try to add BTS ( broken time space)
3) Get seekers to restore damage and maybe Crobat G techs for drops and they can also be sent up then retreated.
4) play 1 poketurn and maybe two crobat drops.
5) get in more pokemon collectors and bebe's search.
6) play something as a helper or slower. ( Sableye, Spiritomb, ETC. ) for your start. ( have x4 for chances of getting it.)
7) use cards like collector if youre using spiritomb.
8) use cards like twins and expert belt if you use sableye so you have head advantage if they knock out your decoy( sableye)
9) Make DCE into maybe warp and cyclone will help against Gengar but Warp is definitely needed especially over VileGar
I have NO BTS! does anyone read anymore? Anyway, no one played Gengar in my/her area because I play T-Tar. I need to get more Bebe's and collectors, I will also get some BTS and Spiritomb soon. I told her to add Crobats, but she says she doesn't understand them. and she complains that she doesn't run the energy to attack with it. I will add them in for her no prob. Same with seeker, she doesn't understand the point of it. xD
if she is not going to change her mind all you do is let her play the deck at a tournament like states. And if that day comes where she gets brutally and consistently beat hard. She will most likely either
A: Ask you or someone for advice
B: Think the whole concept is crap and get rid of the deck
C: Keeps On Going With The Same List
D: Make her own changes
In my opinion...that list is very very very in-consistent and jumbled out. It needs work....alot
It's not her fault, though. Cards like those are only ridiculously easy to understand the purpose of AFTER one sees them in action, sometimes only after a few times. Seeker does have multiple uses, however. Note: in most decks, it isn't worth adding in any psychic energy just to attack with Crobat G (Lol), but...what other Donphan counters run you?
But why crobat g in typhlosion? U have redshark right? Here test my list with her's. Tell me the results after 3 or so matches...just want to hear the results. That is all
my donphan counter is Glaceon lv X. ;)
but I think we're all in agreement that this would be fun to play at a league after some slight modification. but will need major work for states. people may not like a fresh face at states with a fresh pop rating that's probably lower than most people there. take that deck to league. and ask if someone can play an SP deck against her to see how the format is like. it lessens the odds of her wanting to give up on pokemon.
one or 2 battles with the same person is less harsh than 5 losses at states before you get typlosion to do his 120 attack once.
CatreBird, PETM is Professor Elm's Training Method.
