Tyranitar Prime!!!

I used to play a T-tar Prime deck and it was fairly good, i have 3 of them so i was thinking(after a terrible loss at BR with the worst LuxChomp deck ever built) i could go back to T-tar. with Claydol rotating out and Darkrai LV.X, I'm stumped on what i should play it with. What goes good with T-tar Prime?(i have no MD or SF Tyranitar) oh and also, not trying to be picky, but I don't really want to play it as "a spread deck" Thanks in advance!

Tyranitar Prime

maybe t-tar tank and disruption deck?
weavile UD comes in handy for claw snag.
team rocket is great for discarding your opponents card in hand
judge is ultimate disruption when your opponent has a big hand or has just gotten cards he or she needs.
larvitar even on Turn1 discards the top of your opponents deck.

Run Tyranitar Prime with Scizor Prime and Umbreon (HS Undaunted) you won't be disappointed. Plus Umbreon serves as a Donphan Prime counter due to Moonlight Fang.

yes, umbreon and tyranitar is a great combo also.
totally forgot about that. nice card slinger j

If you somehow get a deck absolutely teaming with darkness types, then you can do that 120 attack, discard the top three of your deck and then run Honchy UD (the one who's picture shows him next to his Dusk Stone). Then, after doing a ton of damage with all those Tyranitars and discarding all those dark types with it's attack,when it finally gets KO'ed you can send out honchy who will hit for a ton with Vengeance (not to mention doing more for those ty-primes you had). Just a weird idea.

@Card Slinger J-Why Scizor prime?
@Ogeray-I think I like your idea with Umbreon the best, I might go with that
@Rimid- I dont really like the Honchkrow because of its low 90 HP and also because T-tar line is a {F}-{F}-{D}, I would probably like it better if T-tar line was a {D}-{D}-{D}

after reading your thread and relooking my own t-tar deck, i decided to go:
3 t-tar primes
2 umbreon UD
3 honchkrows UD (1 with vengeance and 2 with blindside)

t-tar is still the usual spread. if you can last, maybe use megaton tail a few times.
tech in umbreon to stall and power up ur other t-tars
snipe off any remaining pokemon with honkrow blindside. (50damage hurts alot after a few darkness howls)
then wrap up with vengeance honchkrow if you still have not won late into the game

what do you think? hope this helps

You won't need Honchkrow UD (either of them) Vegence is a horrible attack and the snipe attack from the other Honchkrow UD isn't needed, Umbreon UD is the only tech you want to run as it actually helps against a few match-ups. (Donphan prime mainly)

3-2-3 T-tar prime
2-2 Umbreon UD
3 Spiritomb AR
2 Uxie LA
1 Unown Q
1 Chatot MD

I have a friend who runs a really fast T-tar deck. He runs 2 Spiritomb. 4-2-4 tyrannitar prime. 4 darkness energy. 2-2 umbreon 1-1-1 nidoqueen, 2 e-belts. 2 Uxies and a lot of supporters and trainers that search his deck or allow him to draw along with rare candies and DCE. He usually has T-tar ready to go by turn 3 and it's doing powerclaw with a darkness energy, DCE and sometimes even an E-belt. BTW: Power Claw rips apart my donphan prime because the attack by passes it's Poke-body.

wierd, i play t-tar against my gf and she raps my t-tar with donphan (x2 weakness)

i think im going to play 3-2-3 T-tar prime, 2-2(or 3-3, but i think that may be to much) Umbreon UD but i have some more questions, how about a Luxray GL LV.X? also, mem-berry on dying t-tar...rage ftw!

Because it helps as a Flygon counter as well as countering Garchomp C Lv. X due to Red Armor getting around DCE, not to mention that it also hurts Blastoise/Feraligatr which doesn't see as much play anymore with Claydol gone.

Ok i see, Im pretty sure I dont have a Scizor Prime yet. Oh well, i used to run this T-tar with Ursarang prime...i dont know how that will work out though. should i put Dragonite FB in as an SP counter?

My buddy runs Metagross SV with T-Tar prime. It's Gravitation Poke Body reduces all pokemon's HP by 20, which plays right into Darkness Howl. It's incredibly annoying when 2 of my Pokemon die just because my friend evolved!

thats cool, but with the rotation of Claydol, running 2 stage 2's isn't exactly all that fast(not saying it's not possible)
