'Tyrantrum-EX Box' Product Image Revealed!

Really good pack selection for me since I'm still looking for cards from these 3 sets. Though wish it came with a figure instead of a jumbo card

This box feels like it should have come out with Furious Fists...

I used to hate the jumbo cards too, but then I started framing them and putting them on my wall and now I love them. Might be something to consider. Also yeah, it does feel like a Furious Fists addition.

As for the card, I think it's got a pretty cool ability and attack. And that's surprising since Promo EX usually are pretty bad. It can hit through Safeguards (among other things), and at 190 it's a sure KO. With Bats it can even OHKO Mega's. As far as energy, Metal accel would probably be ideal (with a Fighting or Double Dragon NRG).

I have been waiting for this. Ever since the first scans of it were revealed, I've been wanting to play Tyrantrum/Bronzong. I don't know how good it will be but with Level Ball, it could be decent.

Hmmm, if Metagross AOR sees play, Tyrantrum would be a better one off than Dialga, to get the final KO

I really like Tyrantrum in general. The Ability is pretty fine, but the attack is a big risk. Even with DDE.
Now to hope for a Aurorus EX later on :D

Hmmm it would need a lot of resources to power it up on a consecutive turn (2 switches for Reshiram active then Tyrantrum, F Energy + DDE)... :/ If only we had Keldeo... In the new format...

2 bronzong and a DDE, or 3 bronzong and a fight engery. Sounds good to me, it has good potential. A muscle band and poison and one hit mega ray, or muscle and a crobat for a one hit groudon. Since the engery acceleration is ability based it has a decent item lock match up (ignoring the new hex maniac) and doesn't need a band to one hit a toad. I like it

I think this card has solid potential, especially being more Metal energy focused than Fighting energy, and being able to break through Pyroar and Beautifly. Just two to three Fighting energies in a Metal deck can make him Metal Links ready and start doing some heavy swinging. Muscle Band gets the OHKO on megas with 210 HP like Mega Manectric or Mega Gardevoir, and he could even be a decent Heavy Boots user (if it comes to the West).
