Ultra Stall (Spinarak Vileplume)

You can always just tech one into a grass deck with Vileplume and just use it if you get the opportunity.

Which is why you run Slowking just in case they don't have a cleffa. You don't HAVE to lock the cleffa, that's only the preferred one. Any other basic pokemon that's meant to take up bench space would work ie. Shaymin, Pachirisu, Shuckle, Mime, etc. You could even lock something like a tepig and just make sure they get bad draws with Slowking.

And Kingdra will OHKO Donphan. Mismagius will OHKO Machamp. I think you're set against any Fighting Tag opposition.

I played vs. a good player with a good list at league 2day and wrecked him best 2/3. way to inconsistent, when he got a GOD hand and i drew terrible he crushed me.

but i beat him every other time

Yes, it is inconsistant. You'll often draw unusable hands, and not be able to do anything.

No i am not going to nats unluckily i cant afford it. Yeah maybe run 3 instead of 1.

The most I can ever see is 2 Spinerak, you only need one to win the game. 3 would make it like a starter more than a tech.

Okay.. So it's the end of the three turns and the Cleffa is Asleep. What do you do then?
You'd need something that can place damage counters or snipe for a fair bit (Seeing as they would probably have a good bench set up)
Such a trollolol deck though

You're not supposed to be playing a deck based on this. You're supposed to use a proven Vileplume deck (Vilemagius) and just add two of the Spinaraks.

The aim of the deck is to get them to bring out a cleffa. After they do this, you use spider web over and over to lock it in place. Use Vileplume to stop them from switching. Pokemon reversal to pull up their cleffas.
Wait, what? Unless you plan to drop the Reversal first, it won't work as well.

And yes Risk is right. Spinarak is a tech in a Vileplume deck - it is not its own thing.

Edit: Just to be fair I do know how this deck works - it was a subject of discussion at my league on Saturday.

the problem is cards like switch, super scoop up, and the ever infamous pokemon catcher and even circulator
