Pokemon Unknown and Unexplained Buttons Use

Today I was playing HeartGold and while trying to soft-reseting the game during a battle I've pressed only the Start button and found that doing it changes our Pokémon's HP bar into numbers only.

Does anybody else has found more of this unexplained uses for buttons, whether in older or new games?

Well I just tried it with my Soul Silver copy and It is not working.
Was that the only thing you did?
Maybe Its just an error in your game?

No, scattered mind, he is correct.

In all Gen 4 games, when in a Double/Multi Battle, you can just hit Start when in a battle and the HP bars (on your side) will change into numbers instead of a bar. Pressing Start again changes them back.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear but it's just like DNA said, though I didn't know it is available in all Gen. IV games.

Wow that is one thing I never noticed ..
Thanks.

That is just a little thing and you all probably already noticed it but anyway:

In Pokemon x and y- Pressing L & R buttons shifts the lower screen between Pokemon Amie super training and the PSS

Yeah, I've noticed that one too. I find it pretty useless though, since my L- and R-buttons are kinda weird. They don't always work. O,o

Do they behave like that normally or is there something wrong with my DS?

It's always worked for me ... sounds like your shoulder buttons may be broken or worn down.

Btw, as anybody else noticed how in Gen IV, by pressing Y while in Bebe's PC (Pokémon Storage System), you can change the color of the glove to gold/yellow?

The yellow glove means you can move Pokémon easier, without having to select from a list of options. You can also move multiple Pokémon at once if you hold A and a direction on the D-Pad.

Is that so!? I thought it was only cosmetic. Thanks for that!

Well, it may be something wrong with your DS because my L and R buttons stopped working on my DSi.
