Ruling Unknown

Probably a silly question, but...


How many unknowns can be in a deck? Only four? or do different unknowns count as different pokemon? i.e.-- Can I have four "Unknown W" and three "Unknown !" ?

"You May Have Up To 4 Poke`mon In Your Deck With Unown in Your Deck". it says so at the top of the older Unown cards the newer cards are implying that you know that
 
New ones have their form in their name. Old ones don't. So you can have as many types of new ones as you like, while the old ones are all treated as the same so it's up to four.

Absolutely wrong. Its in the rule book. :/ You could run a full deck of unowns. lol.
 
Unown Rule

The Neo series Unowns can only have a total of 4
The UF ones, can only have a total of 4
The DP on ones can have 4 of each letter, as the letter is part of the name.

This brings up another question for me... I couldn't find the answer anywhere---
Does this "if it's in the name" thing hold true for pokemon who have forms as well? i.e.-- can I have 4 Castform sunny form and 4 Castform rain form or 4 Deoxys attack, 4 Deoxys defense, etc...
 
^Yup. Anything with even a slightly different name counts as a different pokemon. However, level isn't part of the name, so be aware of that. You could run 4 pikachu, 4 happy birthday pikachu, 4 surfing pikachu, 4 flying pikachu, 4 lt. surge's pikachu, and 4 ash's pikachu,

Heck no.

I remebered someone at my league was playing an unown deck as well. He added Bastiodon since the Unowns were begging to be sniped :/ I squashed his deck using Magmortar. Unowns are fine as a techs but mostly as a main deck? *shakes head* I have yet to see a good Unown deck.
