Yeah I missed that pic, I guess they did make them in unlimited.

Bulbapedia also has a picture of them in unlimited so I guess they do exist.

I wonder why they are so hard to find. Are there any sets or decks that are unlimited only after they started printing 1st editions?

Sometimes you can shop around to save a little bit on those items but it's usually easier to get it from one seller because of the combined shipping.

The shipping is overpriced though since I know it doesn't cost 19$ to ship a Battle Strength Deck with registered mail, well whatever haha

I actually have the Reshiram EX theme deck in the Unlimited Version. I just checked and the Glaceon did not have the 1st Edition stamp. So I am guessing they have that theme deck in 1st Edition? As you can probably figure out, I have very minimal knowledge about Japanese cards.

I am almost 100% sure that they didn't make the Reshiram Battle Strength Deck in 1ED, only UED. No worries, we all had to start somewhere.

three eeveelution quick start decks and the elemental quarter decks

Those for sure. Same with Gardevoir and Tyranitar decks as well. I am going to have to go down the list on bulbapedia one day and make an official log of all of them and then confirm them with some fellow collectors. I know the Team Rocket Returns ones came in 1ED as well. I have not seen the Shaymin one in 1ED.

Yes, I'd say they are very rare. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for the unlimited eeveelutions and quarter decks but no luck so far.

Funny thing is that even though they are so rare they won't sell for much which is a shame (kind of like the symbol-less Japanese base set).

PS- I am SUCH a fool, I forgot I have ~2k cards from these era. I can 100% confirm that the Holon Research Tower Decks come in 1ED/UED as well as the Elemental Constr Decks as well as the Gard/Tyr Decks...It can also be said that 1ED was WAY more common than UED if my cards are any indication.

Ya, I feel like 1ED is more common. I cannot find any Glaceon from Bonds to the End of Time in UED. All are 1ED. It seems like there are more 1ED prints in JPN then there were when 1ED prints in ENG, if that makes sense.
