Unown G~?

Correct. =3 And it's because Unown G blocked the effect, which MUST be used if they're basic. ;D

Edit: Mrs. Aforcer I'm just answering the questions he's asking, not bombarding him. ;D

So if thats the case
if the opponent is using a machamp deck, i should attach Unown G on a SP pokemon
but if the opponent is using a gengar deck, i should attach Unown G on a pokemon which has a poke-power, right?

Well mainly just Unown G whoever you want to protect. But yeah you've got the "basics". =3

nope, you can only have one Tool attached to a pokemon, and G is considered a tool when it is attached

You have to have an empty Bench space to play Unown G down first. Then you can Guard.

dmaster out.

I really wish I had red this forum before I went for battle road, my SP deck was destroyed by some shadow room antics :/

no, it has to be put into play first and use it's power in order to get attached

so when i put unown g onto the bench, i have to wait for the next turn in order i can attach it to one of the pokemon right?

No. You can do Guard the turn you play Unown G down.

dmaster out.

Can Unown G stopped Empoleon's Knock Out or Jet Smash?

I'm not sure about knock out, but jet smash is not prevented because it is damage. Unown G does nothing against damage, even if it is to the bench.

"Put (blank) Damage Counters on a Pokemon"

That's an effect.

Unown G stops that.

"This attack does (blank) damage to a Pokemon"

That's actual damage.

Unown G doesn't stop that.

Poke-powers/bodies are not attacks.

Unown G doesn't stop Poke-powers/bodies

"The defending pokemon is now (blank)"

Unown G stops that.

Basically, anything an attack says that isn't "this attack does (blank) damage" is negated by Unown G.

^except for stuff that deals with the opponent, like:
your OPPONENT cannot use poke-powers next turn, or your OPPONENT discards 1 card from their hand.

Unown G is good due to the amount of playable cards that have attack effects it prevents. Here's a quick run down of what it can do for you:

Dusknoir SF #2 Damage Even: Completely prevented
Gengar SF Shadow Room: Completely prevented
Dialga G Lv.X Remove Lost: Energy can not be sent to lost zone
Machamp SF Take Out: Basic Pokemon are immune
Gardevoir Lv.X Bring Down: Completely prevented
Shiftry RR Seal Off & Conform: Powers and Bodies still usable, no confusion
Gallade SW Sonic Blade: Completely prevented
Blazkein PT Clutch: Can retreat
Giratina Lv.X/PT #27 Darkness Lost/Broken Time-space Blow: Not sent to lost zone
Magnezone Lv.X Cyber Shock: Not paralyzed
Azelf Lv.X Deep Balance: Completely prevented
Azelf LA Lock Up: Can retreat
