USAopoly recently announced that a new Pokémon themed Monopoly will be hitting store's shelves this fall! This edition's theme will be based on the games FireRed and LeafGreen. Why not XY? With each property representing a location in Kanto. duhh The suggested American retail price will be around $45.

Who else will be 'catching' this game?
What other Pokémon themed boardgames would you like to see released?
And to those of you who live outside of the US, will you be hoping that this will released in your country?
 
I do have a Pokémon Monopoly.. but that was is already based on the first Generation.. so I do hope this one will turn out a lot more different, because I'm a major boardgame-freak, so I would love to get the new one too..
But if it'll look too much like the old one....
 
Hmm, I kind of agree that why it isn't based on Pokemon X and Y.

Maybe they were trying to improve the first one or it could be because of the Kanto Starters' Mega Evolution.
 
I love Monopoly! I wish they would release it in the Netherlands. ;-;

I don't have a Monopoly game yet; I usually play it at my cousins. This would have been a good opportunity for getting my own.

I definitely hope we'll get it in Europe! :D

I actually like it's based on Kanto too, to be honest. Especially because Charizard was on the covers there and I hope it will be one of the puppet figure things. :p
