So I started the TCG this year and this is the deck I've been using currently. Its very fun but I've been having trouble with frozen city and Leafeon (Plasma Freeze)

Updated: Made some changes, had some trouble getting some of the cards seeing the people who go to the same tourney that I go to don't like trading for trainers :p
+2 Cilan - 2 Random Reviever
+1 Skyla -1 Bianca
+1 Tool Scrapper -1 Super Scoop Up

Pokemon 13
  • 4x Squirtle (Boundries Crossed)
  • 3x Blastoise (Plasma Blast)
  • 3x Keldeo EX (Boundries Crossed)
  • 3x Mewtwo EX (Next Destinies)
Trainers 33
  • 4x Rare Candy (Plasma Blast)
  • 4x N (Dark Explorers)
  • 4x Professor Juniper (Dark Explorers)
  • 4x Pokemon Catcher (Plasma Blast)
  • 1x Dowsing Machine (Plamsa Storm)
  • 3x Ultra Ball (Dark Explorers)
  • 2x Tool Scraper (Dragons Exalted)
  • 2x Cilan (Next Destinies)
  • 3x Skyla (Boundaries Crossed)
  • 1x Bianca (Emerging Powers)
  • 2x Cheren (Dark Explorers)
  • 3x Energy Retrieval (Plasma Blast)
Energy 14
  • 14x Water Energy (Black And White)

I wanted to know if there should be any changes to this or if this is a good build, I was also thinking on adding some Colress.

RE: Is this a good Keldeo/Blastoise Deck?

The best way to deal with frozen city is with your own stadium. I suggest pokemon center. Imo its the best non beach stadium for keldeo/blastoise.

RE: Is this a good Keldeo/Blastoise Deck?

Most decks run a couple superior energy retreivals

RE: Is this a good Keldeo/Blastoise Deck?

You really should run a couple Float Stone in the deck since you have Keldeo with Rush-In. Super Scoop Up requires a flip to work and since you are just running 1 of it, it is better to just drop it. I'd also drop either a Mewtwo or a Keldeo. 3 of each just gets to be too many. I'd say its better to let one of the Keldeo go since Mewtwo is your main attacker in the deck. Random Receiver is too luck based in this deck. It does better in decks with fewer Supporter cards. Putting in 2 DCEs would be more beneficial because it instantly lets Mewtwo EX be able to attack. Keldeo's attack also requires 3 energy of any type so if you had to put it there to attack you could. You might also change 2 of the water energy to DCE as well to max them out.

-1 Keldeo EX
-1 SSU
-2 Water Energy
-2 Random Receiver

+2 Float Stone
+4 DCE

RE: Is this a good Keldeo/Blastoise Deck?

I would actually suggest dropping.
3 Cheren/Bianca ( I usually only run 12 supporters, maybe you like more idk. But with RR this is quite a bit)
2 Random Recievers

Adding in
1 Skyla (For rare candy access)
3 Pokemon Center (Counter Stadiums that work great with Keldeo Ex)
1 Tool Scrapper (Garbotoxin is going to be a huge problem for this deck, 2 or 3 tool scrappers might be required.)

RE: Is this a good Keldeo/Blastoise Deck?

I don't like dowsing machine here, scramble switch is what my wife plays in her B/K EX deck with max potions and it works really well. Being able to fully load a fresh keldeo or mewtwo and then completely healing the damaged one is insanely good. I would also cut the cheren and bianca as they aren't that spectacular. 4 juniper 4 n 3 skyla 2 cilan (this supporter is nuts with blastoise) 1 colress is probably where you want to be with this deck. SSU is lack luster imo and RR is ok but 1 is probably fine.
