Uploading pics from my DSi

RE: Uploading pics

Yes you can, just make sure the pics are saved on the SD card and not the DSi.

What if you saved them on the DSi? Could you get them on the SD card?

Yes, you can transfer photos from the DSi memory to an SD Card, theres an option for copying data under the "Options" button in the DSi Camera menu.

RE: Uploading pics

No, cuz I don't have an SD card...I was thinking of getting one, but figured it was pretty pointless if I can't upload some pics.

I'd recommend getting the biggest SD card you can find.

The Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL support standard SD cards as well as high-capacity SD cards (SDHC) up to 32 GB in size. This includes miniSD and microSD when used with their respective adapters

RE: Uploading pics

How much do the bigger ones cost, about (USD)? I don't want to spend too much on one.

Best Buy has a 8gb for under $20.00

You don't necessarily need the biggest you can get. You can get a good 2GB card for around $10-$15, in-store or online, if you wish (without much hunting).

But if you absolutely want the best value, I recommended taking a look at GB4Less's SD card page. They list the prices you pay per GB, and filter out anything with less than 30 reviews and 4 stars (you can change this, of course). Sure, they mostly list 16 and 32GB cards at the top of it, but like I said, if you absolutely want the best value, this is a good way to go.

The highest rated/valued 8 GB card might be worth looking at ($15 shipped).

Also, I've changed the title of this thread to something a tad bit more descriptive.

The dsi also has an option when you update it to send your image to Facebook where you can save the image to your computer once uploading it.

kmoart, target, best buy.. they always have random 4GB cards on sale for $7 to $10.

I highly doubt that you will EVER fill that up with the DSi's camera resolution. Challenge accepted. -Chariblaze
