vacations

@BrokenIce

Ah, I go in the winter when theres like 7 feet of snow :p

It's an amazing place though, right? I've always wondered what its like in the summer there.

@Darkvoid57

It's really nice.
We walked almost everywhere in the town part.
The movie theater is really small.

Must have been nice to go skiing.
I never did that.

I can't remember.
Home-Style Cottages I think.
They had a pool and game room.
Even a hot tub.

Ah, I stayed at Trapp Family Lodge, built by the real life family from The Sound Of Music. REally interesting place, stayed there 2 years in a row

In summer 2009 I went to Montreal Quebec for 3 days on vacation. It was my first time going to a new Province and I loved it. Their food is amazing there, and I love the French culture. I can't speak much french myself, but it was still a lot of fun. This summer, 2011, I hope to go to Niagara Falls with my boyfriend. Perhaps stay for 2-3 nights, and tour around the Falls. I've been there over 10 times in my life, almost every summer, and I always love each time, it's like a home away from home to me.

I'd have to say that the last true "vacation" was to Washington D.C. I have been to MANY places, but only to near places. I live in Georgia, so we went to Ruby Falls in Chattanooga, Tennessee a few weeks ago. It was such a wonderful adventure! We went 1,000 some-odd feet underground by walking. At the very bottom was Ruby Falls. It was so majestic. When we first walked in, the lights were a dim red color; very dark to where you could not see the waterfall. Then, BAM, the lights came on in a spectacular fashion. We went behind the waterfall, and we got all wet :p Then we went home before visiting the Tennessee Aquarium, because we were very tired. We went to D.C. back in 09'. It was exciting getting to see the monuments and such. We also went to the Smithsonian Museums. We got there just in time to see the Abraham Lincoln exhibit, with all of his neat things. Overall, I had a wonderful time on both occasions, and would gladly do it again.
Kind Regards,
Dustin
