I bought this game today, and it's really good and I like it. Although, I have a few questions about the game-play, and if anyone has it and has played it, could you answer my questions please? =D

1. Can you just fight animals/monsters/people to do farming or is it a game like Fire Emblem where the game takes you and you level as you go? I like the first option more ;p

2. Are there any missions in which you won't have to build up SIN, or is it a requirement in every battle/mission?

3. After you beat the game, is there an extended storyline or something that will keep me wanting to play?

1. Second option I think.
2. Not sure.
3. See above.

Personally, I don't like the game that much. It's way too hard in the beginning.

Really? I'm doing just fine, unless I haven't gotten to the part which you are talking about.

It's like the first missions. Weak characters + High Sin Requirements = Fail

Hmm I'm currently on Ch. 3 and having troubles, or is what you are talking about earlier?

No. I said the very beginning. Like Chapter 1. <__>

Is this game even worth it? My VP experience is just VP 2: Silmeria for the PS2, and it was an awesome game. I see this, think greatness, then think EW TACTICS RPG BLEHHHHH.

I just gathered that from the back of the box. What's it like, really?

Well, I'm on Chapter 5 right now (haha d master >:-D) which I think is the last chapter. It's really a lot of fun, but it's sort of frustrating during the final battle of chapter 3. It took me like 6 hours to beat because I had to try a bunch of different tactics, then when I beat the last battle, apparently it wasn't the last battle, so I had to kill one of my guys to pwn them all >_<

But it's really a lot of fun. I didn't find it extremely hard, though. I noticed that you don't even have to fulfill the SIN amounts, but if you do, you get prizes. I've only not accomplished it about 3 times so it wasn't too bad. It's really a cool game and an interesting storyline, but it gets really hard and you have to use A LOT of reviving and healing potions. Also, the enemies can be really cheap sometimes, but they're stupid and stand still so you can attack them from all sides with all of your teammates.

To sum it up, it's extremely fun. It's got great graphics, but the only thing I don't like really is the enemies cheapness (sometimes it takes like 5 attacks FROM EACH OF YOUR PEOPLE to kill it, and they could die in the process which is annoying) and the fact that you can't go to random places to train against animals/monsters/people. That's a little annoying, but it's still a lot of fun. I almost beat the main storyline. I just beat a level that took about 40 minutes :-D

I have this game along with the original VP for my PSP (Which I am going to start playing on hard.)

I know the game is supposed to be a side story to the series but does it spoil anything from the first two games? I havent got round to playing it yet and odnt want to be spoiled on any of the events in the other two games.

I haven't played the other two games (I didn't even know it was a series until a couple days ago). I mean, the storyline focuses on Wylfred who goes through this journey and a bunch of other stuff.

So I'm not really sure if it spoils anything :3
