Hi, I'v signed up to ask about the value of some old cards I found in my wardrobe. I collected the cards ages ago, and my dad worked for a printing company that produced them, called something like wizard's or magician's or something :p I'll ask when he gets in later.

Anyway he used to get me alot of cards that didnt pass quality control, so I had alot with mis aligned borders and things.

But the only ones I can find now are a machamp, arcanine, a raichu from the base set prerelease and a magneton.

Here's a picture of the raichu as youve asked about it the most

That is a REALLY rare Raichu. I can't really describe it that well, but it was a misprint.

Woah if thats a real PR raichu, thats one seriously rare card! Only thing is though the PR stamp looks gold/ yellow but on the original cards they were black... :S

I'v put a pic of the raichu alone up, its really blurred and its hard to read the prerelease stamp but its in black, the glare from my light made it yellow in the other pic

It looks pretty legit to me, meaning you are one lucky guy/girl. I would kill for that Raichu... Do you want me to kill for it?

Even if it's worth that much - you still need to find a buyer who is willing to purchase it from you. Old cards these days only go "realistically" $1-$5 for most holos. (see ebay).

Weird... it looks really fake to me. For one, the way the card was cut is different from the other confirmed pre-release Raichus; it's mis-cut. If we are to believe the story of how these originated, then they all came from the same sheet and should have all been cut the same way. Also, the colors on the Raichu and electric symbols seem a little too orange. This might just be the picture, but the first point stands.

The pre-release stamp on the one the TC posted is also too small and too far to the right; it should be covering up Raichu's left foot a little bit. I'm calling this one a fake, sorry bro.

Also, to note - I think the card you might have (from the picture) might be fake. The alignment is shifted and the card looks a bit narrow in width. There were A LOT of fakes those days. I had several fake cards that I didn't know were fake until I searched on the internet about finding out what things make fake cards.

The card isnt miscut, its just the angle on the photo. Also it looks very orange, but thats just the lighting in my room, the card is actually a lighter yellow. Im gonna make a video in a different room to show the card.

Also i asked my dad and it was wizards of the coast he used to work for as quality control.

I dunno....it seems like a bootleg cause its way off center. :/ If not, thats worth a TON!

After taking a closer look, I've realised this is a fake. I don't know what I was thinking when I said it was legit.

Excuse me, I've taken pictures with a camera before, and taking one at an angle does not create illusions like that. Not to mention, the picture was clearly taken straight on.
