Victini/ Sharpedo

Probability of double-heads + Probability of no double-heads = 1

Which Implies...

1 - Probability of no double-heads = Probability of double-heads

Hence...

1 - (3/4' * 3/4) = 1 - (9/16) = 5/16 < 1/3
No, the second time, it's not a 75% chance of double tails. You're only going to have a second try 75% of the time, so it's not going to be that entire time that you flip double tails. That's illogical.

It's 43.75%, I'll try to explain it better:

You have a 25% chance of getting double heads the first flips. Anything else, and you'll want to re-flip.

So out of that 75% chance that you DON'T get double heads the first time, you'll get double heads 25% of the time. So it's 25% on the first flips plus 25% of 75% on the second flips. 25%+25%x75%=43.75%. Simple as that.

EDIT: I decided to actually test this. So I went through the flips 100 times (as though I were actually playing Sharpedo with Victini), and I got a heads/tails split of... 46/54. Not perfect, but pretty darn close to my estimate of 43.75%.

I currently have Sharpedo Bascullin Vicitini Built. (The bascullin that will be in our next set) I use a 2-2 slowking, and it is extremely consistent, and can hit hard when it needs to. I think that it has a chance in the upcoming format

I have a variant of this deck (w/o Victini, etc...of course). In my variant, though, I have Slowbro as a secondary attacker.

It's easy to tech in to protect against Reshiram/Donphan, however it'll make you a bit more susceptible to Zekrom. To help alleviate that, I'd suggest running Donphan as mentioned before. Here's my skeleton in case anyone's interested:

3-3 Sharpedo
4-4 Slowking/Slowbro
2-2 Donphan
1-1 Zoroark
1 Tyrogue
1 Cleffa

3/4 Team Rocket's Trickery
2 Energy Exchanger

4 Rainbow Energy
4 Special Dark Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy
1 Psychic/Fighting Energy

That looks like a good list, I just don't know about TRT. Once you discard the hand, do you really need to discard more just to draw 2 cards? I'd rather use PONT or Juniper for my Supporter for the turn. As long as the lock's going with Slowking, you don't have too much of a problem.

The TRT is for added consistency. Slowking won't always be perfect with Second Sight and if the match comes to a point where you're trying to out-stall your opponent, milling your deck isn't the best option. (I've had that happen. -_-) Besides, if you get to a point where you lock your opponent with a decent setup, you don't really need the two extra cards. Also, the force discard gets you ahead and prevents you from using Weaviles and to further disrupt, thus creating room for more tech. (Slowbro, Donphan, etc..)

I'm not saying my list is perfect or anything, but it does very well offensively while not folding like paper. More like cardboard! :D Most importantly, it maintains its disruptive nature.

Um... isn't this why you shouldn't be using it?

Drawing 2 cards usually does more milling than shuffling in and drawing 6 (PONT).

Obviously the lock with Slowking will break at some point, and your opponent will get an out to a PONT or Juniper or something, but TRT won't help that. Your opponent will play the out as soon as he gets it, it'll never be in his hand on your turn.

thanks for the feedback scizorliscioous
