I'm planning on uploading battle videos from my local league onto youtube would anyone be interested??

I would be very interested! I rarely get to see league videos so this will make me happy if you upload them every so often!

I'd be aiming for at least once a week, also I'd be leaving the video raw so that you get to experience the match as it should be, no commentating just what's there, the only opinions on play you'll have will be your own.

I would highly recommend that you do some commentary on these videos. I've tried to watch tcg games without it and they just get too dry and boring and sometimes you can't always tell what a card is, etc. Unless you don't have the means to record voice, I would highly recommend some commentary.

Be very very careful. Only post good games -- lame ones aren't interesting. Over-lay audio files... I've found that recorded videos from leagues always have crap audio. Next, decide what you are trying to do with these videos. Are you showing off? Are you entertaining? Are you teaching? If you are posting for the sake of posting, please don't. Adjust your content accordingly. Next, please please please edit. If you videos have not been editted, don't waste our time and don't post at all.

Even so, I would like to see some quality gameplay vids. Just make them good games...

Zero has a point, but I think his assessment was a little harsh; you won't be wasting anyone's time no matter what you decide to do. If some sourpuss decides to sit and watch the whole thing and types out a big novel about your awful video, they've wasted their own time, but if you're playing the game anyway and have a little bit of time to kill, go for it. The absolute WORST that could happen is not a single person in the whole entire world watches it, but if all you have to do is hit record, play the game you were playing anyway, then hit upload, I don't see what you have to lose.

I wouldn't say he was harsh, blunt perhaps, as for the videos they'd be for entertainment and possibly share footage from some of the local tournaments from the Premier series

If you're enthusiastic about it, performing well in the tournaments you cover will help your videos get a lot more views. When people know you're good, they're more motivated to watch your coverage/listen to your advice.

I wouldn't be filming just me, there'd be other players from my league

It's not harsh. It's constructive. It's wasting your own time if you'll post a battle video of bad quality or bad matchup.

Another thing to watch out for in a battle video is the lighting. Glare happens a lot and it blurs out the view on some cards. If ever it does, make sure to clarify it in the form of commentary or those speech balloon things. Commentary is not necessarily needed but is well- received. Choose a perspective when explaining as well. You have to choose whether you're commentating for a semi-beginner who needs to learn basic strategy or more advanced strategies for those who know the game more. If you can't do commentary, just post a fast BPM soundtrack. It's not fun to watch a tcg game with slow boring music.

I wish you good luck in your videos because I also want to learn from good matches. Cheers.

J-Wittz does a fantastic job recording videos in my opinion. If you can do something like that, I would be very interested. You can learn a lot from videos: how a deck works, how a deck stacks up against other decks, etc.

Make sure you have a good camera, and that you get a good angle. J-Wittz allows us to watch his videos at 720p, which is fantastic. For me, 480p is just fine, but make sure your camera has HD capabilities.

This November I'm planing to do battle videos my self, once I get a special tripod. When you do the battle videos, just be sure that both decks are decks that people like for example, KYJ VS Stage 1 Rush, that sounds like an interesting match-up to me.

Hardly anybody plays KYJ and Stage 1 rush is dying off too. Besides, that matchup has been proven time and time again to be fairly one-sided towards KYJ.

Just ask me and Gliscor/SWD about this. We've played this matchup almost 50 times. I can tell you anything you need to know.

I'd say try it.

Interesting matchups:

TyRam vs ZPST
ZPST vs MegaZone
The Truth vs MegaZone
TyRam vs The Truth
ZPST vs Stage 1s

^The Truth vs Megazone and ZPST vs Stage 1's are both interesting, especially the first. However, TyRam vs ZPST tends to be very one-sided towards one deck or the other, generally ZPST. ZPST vs MegaZone has the obvious deciding factor in double Magnezone hitting the field, and TyRam vs the Truth is very lopsided towards the truth.

A couple other ones to consider are:
MegaZone vs Stage 1's
Vileplume/Mew/Yanmega vs pretty much anything, especially Yanmega/Magnezone and other decks with Yanmega
