Vilegar after Triumphant

What do you guys think about the new trainers: seeker, twins, black belt, rescue energy in vilegar.
Which one of those trainers could be used to make Vilegar even better? IMO I say 3 rescue energies and 2 to 3 twins in vilegar can be good. Everybody says that vilegar's weakness is his slow recovery. Now with rescue energy you lose the energies but you get back your 1-1-1 gengar ready for a shadow room the turn right after if you have a broken time space in play. Twins is good to make the deck faster once your spiritomb dies and if the game isnt going your way and you fail the fainting spells its a great recovery card paired with rescue energy so u always have a chance of making a comeback. What do you guys think about those new trainers? Also what would be your new TSS line for vilegar now that triumphant is out?

New pokemon techs in Vilegar?? All ive seen so far for the new pokemons that could help is grumpig (power locking), ditto (disruption), mew prime (just an idea),absol prime (mirror match), celebi prime for stalling and gengar prime but that might hurt the deck more then it helps. Other ideas?

Yes definitely the new cards help vilegar..and dont forget even a teched ggar prime can be used to rid your opponents hand of sp lv.x's

I dont really see how seeker makes vilegar better though... Do you guys think Ditto TR could be good in vilegar? Sometimes it could help me to keep them away from benching their counter to vilegar like dialga in luxchomp or umbreon ud. If they dont know that you are playing vilegar they might not go search for their counter right away, so yah ditto might disrupt the opponent

In my opinion, Ditto is just a waste.
First of all, it takes place on your bench, which is really bad if you use Uxies and Azelf, as they are so popular. Then, it makes you hard to set up. And if you try to use it in the middle of the game, you have to know that your bench will mostly be fulled with back-up, uxies, azelf. After one of your pokemon dies, you have to set another pokemon, no place for ditto.
Secondly, wow, maybe you are going to put it in the middle of the game, if you have places. Your opponent has to discard one pokemon because he has five. Oh my god, I am going to discard Azelf or Uxie, or a high damaged pokemon! This is so BAD, I am going to die.
Finally, If you want to put it when your opponent has four benches to block him to take a pokemon like Dialga or Umbreon, you should know what is Seeker for Umbreon to go around, or to give a free prize card to Luxchomp with Bright Look. At least to kill uxie, you need a Crobat G too, but Ditto with 40 hp, not sure.

No offense but I don t think it will be good. Anyway, using Gengar prime can be really disruptive in the beginning of the game. Maybe Spiritomb can reshuffle opponent hand and then Gengar, lost some pokemons.

spiritomb is disgusting in vilegar... the triumphant one that is. Okay now I see ditto was just an idea no need to bash on the card. Though I think a single Zangoose PL tech in vilegar could be good, what do u think?

All that to bash ditto, we all know that ditto is useless for competitive play, nuff sed.

There is a few cards in Triumphant that increase the usefulness of legend cards, which is a good thing. vilegar is not the most destructive thing you can do with vileplume. I can see more use of cards like seeker's, twin's, black belt, and even junk arm replacing or adding to a few deck's. All in all triumphant is a not bad set with alot of very useful cards, and alot of not so. cya

Can you explain to me what is the use of Zangoose? I don t get it, it is for his first attack? If it is, it will not be very good because most of the pokemon has 0 to 1 retreat. Who do you want to counter with it?

Bronzong g lets say... invite and strike it. Cant poketurn force to waste their energies on bronzong to retreat while I have a turn to atleast recover faster or just shadow room their bench a little more. There is lots of other stuff, I can bring up vileplumes, regice, giratina, machamps with no energies (the prime preferably), donphans with no energies, steelix with no energies, dragonite fb (less common), or what ever has a high retreat or is gonna be a threat later on like a steelix prime lets say and other stuff with heavy retreat and it also works around umbreon UD

I love the idea of seeker in Vilegar.

You can bounce your Crobat G and flash bite for easy knockouts against benched uxie's and azelf. You can also free retreat a hurt Gengar LVL X, bounce it and play it on another Gengar SF.

Also, I like twins as said before.

I also like the new spiritomb. It forces your opponent to draw six cards. So if they are down to 2-3 cards in hand, you can force them to take more thus improving poltergeist.

Black Belt has some benefits, but we are already way low on space.

Yeah I also like the new spiritomb but it lowers my chance of starting with a trainer lock right away
Seeker will prob be in my list, twins definatly gonna use 2 twins and around 2-4 rescue energies instead of the traditional call energy because I dont own any

I hate call energy anyway. If you don't get it turn one, it's worthless. Plus if you start with spiritomb you are going to want to darkness grace and if you have gastly you will pitch dark.

Of course without call you can be easily donked. However, that's the risk I take.

The best card to make Vilegar better would be Recover Energy. Highly good.
