I've looked at many builds for this deck, so I tried to make my own because I love how this deck works....And Gengar is my all time favorite :D!!

Pokemon: --29--

Gastly (SF) x 3
Haunter (SF) x 3
Gengar (SF) x 2
Gengar LvX x 1
Gengar Prime x 1 (TR)

Oddish (LA) x 2
Gloom (UnD) x 2
Vileplume (UnD) x 2

Spiritomb (AR) x 4
Smeargle (UnD) x 1
Uxie (LA) x 2
Uxie LvX x 1
Azelf (LA) x 1
Eevee (RR) x 1
Umbreon (UnD) x 1
Unown Q (MD) x 1
Unown D (UnD) x 1 (this card is strictly for being able to grab a special dark energy for the use by Umbreon. Can easily be retrieved by using a PC and then used for the quick set up of Umbreon and his Moonlight Fang)

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums --19--

BTS x 3
Bebe's Search x 3
Pokemon Collector x 3
looker's investigation x 3
Palmer's Contribution x 3 (I often go back and forth between this and Flower Shop Lady)
Seeker x 2
Cyrus's conspiracy x 2

Energy --12--

Psychic x 7
Warp x 2
Special Dark x 1 (obtained by Unown D and used for Umbreon)
Rescue x 2 (Go back and forth with these since I use 3 Palmer's or FSL it might be a little overkill using these rescue)

**Does Rescue only save the top evolution/level-up or does it save all stages?

I know this seems like a pretty Pokemon heavy deck and that's primarily what I am worried about. Right now I'm using the Umbreon (Moonlight Fang) Tech which is a lot of fun but I've also read a lot about a 1-1 Slowking tech and also a 1-1-1 Machamp (SF) tech. I've never ran the Slowking or Machamp but hear good things. I am really looking forward to all of your ideas and critiques that you may have :) Thank you for you time and hope to hear back soon!

That's the point of Palmers or FSL...obviously puts pressure on it if the gloom is prized but that's why most decks carry an Azelf is for those occasions. But other than the gloom being in my prizes, it's easy to obtain using Spiritomb.

You need a better Vileplume line. If you don't have Spiritomb active, AND no Vileplume, you have no trainer lock, making most decks today domanate. Maybe take out your Copycat for another Gloom. And I suggest using Gengar Prime. It can send Pokémon to the Lost Zone. Also, with Lost World coming out, Gengar Prime will win almost every match it's in. I suggest running 2 Prime, 1 SF, and 1 X. I know Gengar Prime is really expensive, so maybe run 1 Prime, 2 SF, and 1 X. Either way, Gengar Prime can win the game! ~JS

I have two primes so I have the ability to run that line, but if I ran that, will it take away from the basis of the deck? And since Lost World is confirmed. Should I try and make room for it, or would that as well take away from the point of the deck?

-3 looker's
+3 copycat

You should be copycating for a whole lot since there hand will be clogged up with trainers.

-1 gengar sf
+1 gengar prime

gengar prime is to counter gyrarados lost zone there karps.

Isn't looker's a main card within a vilegar deck? without it you'd be just throwing your poltergeist out blindly, I mean maybe if smeargle was a bigger part of the deck and I could just use portrait every turn to see what they're playing with but that's iffy. I think the prime is a great idea though I'll certainly be implementing one into the deck.
