Vilegar's problems, and how to solve them

Vilegar is recognized as a metagame deck. However, there are a few counters to it:

1. Umbreon UD. Nothing in the deck except for Haunters can hurt it. Something has to be included to deal with it.

2. Regice LA. It discards the trainers stuck in hand and blows away Spiritombs.

I need ways to deal with the above 2 problems, especially no.1.
Any suggestions?

Relicanth SV? That works well against Umbreon, but Regice still remains a problem. I'm not sure there's a lot to do about it.

snipe around the umby....much better than trying to tech in something....or at the max use cyclones..or infernape 4 x...

1 - Use 1-1 Mismagius UD, it is very good also against other decks.
2 - Shadow Room. Just Shadow Room.

Gengar solves all of its won problems. Fainting Spell counters umbreon and Shadow Room snipes Regice.

Yeah I would say You dont need a tech. Like everyone said just shadowroom the regice and hope that fainting spell goes in your favor. But if you have to have a tech relicanth is the way to go. But the problem is that you have to put in a fighting energy. That problem with that is you wont run any trainers so getting that energy would be hard unless you put Cyrus in the deck. Hopefully I helped.

its a terrible umbreon counter
umbreon resists psychic, and drifblim is weak to dark
the others are slow or take up to much room

why would you use machamp when you could use breloom which is a stage one?
and can do just as much damage for the same price

and where is the relicanth option?, amnesia can be pretty nice if its a lone umbreon tech

Hitmontop hgss, marowak LA and golem 4 are valid tech's against umbreon (within reason),golem tank's n deals, marowak donk's (bts), and hitmontop is luck.. , yeah. cya

the winner of santa clara cities (ray vin) played a 1-1-1 machamp in his deck and after some thought i decided it would work. marowak la is ok too but you are ten off.
