Notes:
Just built this deck and have made some minor changes. I decided to run 2 Scorched Earth instead of 3 and took out a Hex Maniac in order to run 2 Professor's Letters. In addition, I ran Ninja Boy for a while and decided it was unnecessary since most of the things I would be replacing are already meant to be on the bench.

Also, I've been thinking about replacing Entei with an additional Flareon EX. Entei is okay but the late-game damage output isn't great and Burning Roar has only been useful once since my Trainers are mostly focused on moving energies.

Finally, I've been looking at Blacksmith. Late game energy moving can be hard once the VS Seekers end up in the discard. Maybe adding 2 Blacksmith would be good but I haven't found a place for them yet.

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone!!

Blacksmith is out of Rotation. However, as long as you don't plan to play standard, Blacksmith is A-okay!

My edits:

+2 Trainer's Mail
+2 Shaymin EX
+1 Professor Sycamore

-2 Remoraid
-2 Octillery
-1 Olympia

Other than that, super good list!

Oh man! Didn't realize it wasn't in Standard. Darn! And I like Octillery in this list way more than Shaymin. I can use the Dive Ball for the whole line AND Volcanion EX. Plus it only takes one slot of bench space and is consistent drawing. It's essentially the new Claydol GE

Hey dude, I respect that. I also think that Shaymin is a little too expensive and not enough bang for buck at this point. However, I do stick to my opinions on the sycamore and trainer's mail. Finding a the 2 spots for the 'mail could definitely improve an already good list. Rip Claydol. Card is super good.

I'm thinking:

-1 Entei
-1 Volcanion
-1 Escape Rope
-1 Ultra Ball

+1 Flareon EX
+2 Trainer's Mail
+1 Sycamore

I run Mew-EX in my list instead of Entei, as Entei is super situational and Mew-EX can land you KO's on Mega Mewtwo (which seems to be a pretty good deck in the current Meta). Having FFB on Mew-EX is super helpful aswell, so consider my advice.

Are you referring the the Mew EX promo? I just use the FCO Mew the M Mewtwo EX match-up.

I am referring to the promo. I personally run the EX over the FCO version just because of its higher HP amount and ability to use opponent's attacks, but I can see how the extra prize can hurt you.

Would you say I'd be better off with the Mew rather than an additional Flareon EX?

Although the Mew has low HP, it is still only a 1 prize target; and against the M Mewtwo EX match-up, it's great, IMO.

Definitely a cool tech if you're worried about Mega-Mewtwo. Other than that, Non-EX Volcanion will do more than suffice.
No doubt IF the M Mewtwo EX player does not Damage Change all of the damage it received onto the Volcanion for a KO most likely. I favour Mew for it can easily 1HKO the M Mewtwo EX.

I'm thinking I take out Entei and one baby Volcanion for an additional Flareon EX and a Mew EX

U would really need a hoopa ex, and i would say, add another scorched earth and drop the octillery line completely. That way u still can draw enough cards

I really like the argument for Octillery. 4 dive ball and 4 ultra ball should make for a blindingly fast setup without the liability of Hoopa. Personally I prefer having at least one shaymin in case I can't find a supporter first turn, and plan to run 2 shaymin and 1 hoopa, but there are disadvantages to having them fill your bench. Perhaps scorched earth is just enough to help out if you go without them. My deck right now is an expanded reshiram (blue flare) volcanion ex donk deck that runs laserbank so a truly explos8ve first turn is an absolute requirement, totally different format of course.
I will try octillery in standard when I can get more baby volcanions and volcanion ex.
In expanded, however, with blacksmith at my disposal, ultra ball, steam up and battle compressor make blue flare a consistent 120 damage attack on turn 2 and scorched earth isn't needed for draw power or to discard fire so upping that to 150 with laser bank and often 180 with steam up is very possible, add a muscle band and say good night. On a wicked first turn where you hit 2 steam ups, blacksmith, laserbank and muscle band it's 230 damage, just stupid.
