How would you modify this list if your ONLY goal was beating a Gardevoir-GX deck?

Perhaps increase the Turt count so you can discard energy and decrease Garde's attack damage. Also maybe add FFBs to make it harder for them to knock you out

Fighting Fury Belt helps, as long as they don't Field Blower it off.

I think Turtonator is your best option. A 160 Bright Flame with a FFB and 2 Steam Ups OHKOs a Gardevoir GX. I know some people are going to say use Choice Band, but here's why FFB is better against Gardevoir.

160 Bright Flame with a Choice Band is 190. One Steam Up brings it up to 220, still 10 short of the OHKO. You still need to do 2 Steam Ups with a Choice Band to get the OHKO anyways so the extra HP provided by FFB is better in this scenario. I would maybe remove one Volcanion EX for another Turtonator. 3 Volcanion EX does the job just fine.
