Any particular reason(s) why "Turtonator" is listed in the Thread's name?

If players in your area are running a number of Garbodor decks, you may want to consider running an extra Field Blower.

Why no Scorched Earth Stadium? A Mallow-Scorched Earth combo can be really helpful?

Curious to also know your thoughts on why you chose to use Fighting Fury Belts vs. Choice Bands.

Why no Kiawe?
 
Strategy is simple : feed Turtonators and Volcanions Ex with the baby Volcanion. Perfect start is Volcanion - Turtonator - Brooklet Hill . Recicle with Starmie. Then, using Steam up, you have a lot of empowered attacks which can kill a lot of cards of this metagame. Switches and Guzma are also really important for this strategy to recicle Volcanion Ex attacks.

"Turtonator" is listed cause he is a fundamental part of the deck but you can even cut it, that's not really important.

Yes, maybe the extra Field Blower could be perfect, i played a lot vs Garbo and yeah it's needed.

You dont need other stadiums. Brooklet Hill is just perfect and enough in my opinion. You can set the field with Volc. Ex and Staryu really fast.

FFB over Choice Bands cause this deck needs Fighting Fury Belts. 40 HP for Pokemon like the ones on this deck are too important, and then 10 damage on all pokemon, they just fill better with the deck.

Kiawe, yes i was thinking to add it for 1 Shauna, and maybe even 2 but i have to test them. I really like Shauna, but Kiawe is so good. I'll see...

Fighting Fury Belt is just better in this deck, to answer TuxedoBlack's question. You're able to get the +30 damage that Choice Band would've gotten you with one Steam Up, and Volcanion EX really needs the extra HP against Gardevoir, and just for surviving hits in general. I've been heavily playing different Volcanion variants recently and FFB just offers more. Plus, a 130 Volcanic Heat with one Steam Up and a Choice Band hits for 170 which is enough to OHKO a Tapu Lele, which in my opinion is important since every deck runs 2-3. 2 Steam Up and a FFB OHKO's Espeon GX and anything lower. Turtonator is even better. 2 Steam Up and a FFB lets it hit for 230. The numbers still work out with FFB and you get the extra HP.

I think you definitely need a Kiawe or two. I also recommend using at least one Ho-Oh GX. It's so good in this deck because of it's sheer power and it's not weak to water.
