Strategy:

^ Anyway, onto strategy. My strategy is simple: Set up P-Groudon and sweep w/ two Strong Energies attached to it. However, in order to get the necessary cards to accomplish this, Florges is here to help! With Brilliant Search, which requires 1 Colorless Energy, once it's fully evolved from its Flabebe stage, there's no stopping me from searching for a stadium, whether fighting or shrine, a Lysandre, or any other card that could help my P-Groudon that I need but can't get immediately, and in this game, the pace of the KOs need to be fast or else your pokemon might be KO'd instead, so having a pokemon that can search for 3 cards, in my opinion, is critical, don't you agree?

^ Are any changes needed to better the above idea?

^ Suggestions and/or comments can now be posted, while I get ready to sleep! I'll check back, though! Don't you dare think I'm not watching this thread for improvement suggestions and/or comments on my deck idea...

RE: Plant Volcano! (P Groudon-EX / Breloom / Hawlucha)

Is Breloom really necessary when you have Weakness Policy? It can't really hit that hard, when compared to PGroudon's 200+ damage. Another issue with it is that it can't use Strong Energy, being Grass type. Have you considered Landorus FuF?

Other than that, replace N with Birch for rotations, it's easily better than Shauna.

Um... you do realize that neither Groudon nor Primal Groudon are weak to Water right? ... and Grass types aren't typically weak to Grass >.>

I'm going to add the Landorus, as well as

^ Thank you for the comments.

After such thought, I've updated my deck, and tweaked it to account for the fast metagame, especially including one pokemon that can help speed up the setup process involving P-Groudon. Please comment and/or make suggestions on my recent edit!

I really like the idea of Shrine in here. I currently use 4 Scorching Earth / 2 Fighting Stadium, but honestly, the bonus damage from Fighting Stadium is doing very little for Groudon. Shrine, letting it attack for 2 energies even after MEvo'ing, seems more useful in a way. Which also means we don't have to discard the stadium every time we don't need the 200+ damage.

I've personally never tried Florges, but looking at it now, the triple Computer Search-y effect seems like it could set you up real quick. My main concern is that unlike Landorus, Florges provides no energy acceleration. But again, Groudon is now able to attack for 2.

Scorching Earth is very good for Lando though, so consider using it.
