ORAS Wally and Mega Gallade

It would make no sense for it's previously secondary type that was replaced by Fighting, to come back in the mega by replacing it's main type instead o_o
And that's ignoring the fact it's signature move is Psycho Cut.

It's like a guy can't even dream or hope anymore without "pokemon logic(which normally isnt solid anyway)" thrown in his face.

I just would have liked him to be fairy fighting to match gardevoir's fairy psychic. Can I live?

Gardevoir is Psychic/Fairy
Gallade is Psychic/Fighting
changing to Fairy/Fighting would only make them less "matching", as it gets rid of their shared and main type, while making Gallade even more of a special case by having it's type change a second time when it mega evolves (gaining the type it already lost by regularly evolving), whereas Gardevoirs type doesn't change when it evolves from a Kirlia nor when it mega evolves.

"pokemon logic"? this is just about types. If something isn't solid about this, show me.

Fairy fighting gallade would have been nice since its a new typing, so I understand the dissapointment. Personally, I never planned on using mega gallade anyway.

I must say, Wally looks perfect in his screen shots and the artwork. He's just like the little loveable boy I remember, which makes me really happy! I liked him better with gardevoir, but I can see why they went with Gallade.

I sooo agree! Wally used to be really 'small'/'weak' but now looks he can 'overcome' his illness.

My main hope for this kid is that I hope he is more fleshed out. In the main storyline you battle him like twice (not counting his post game rematches), so hopefully there'll be a few more in game matches and maybe even add some depth to his character. Honestly I forget he's your rival since he just fades into the background.

I'm really hoping he has some kind of involvement in the Mega Evolution aspect of the story. Especially since he's being advertised with Mega Gallade, it would be awesome to see him realise that he could Mega Evolve it.

My newest prophecy:
We will have character customization
The Battle Frontier will return, but the facilities and leaders will be changed
There will be a Mega Chandelure, Mega Walrein, and Mega Roserade
Finally, Tate and Lisa will have Gallade and Gardevoir respectively.

But in all seriousness, I'm really disappointed with Mega Gallade's ability. I feel like it could have been great, but instead they stopped it from flinching...lovely... Oh well.

Truth be told, Wally did overcame his illness back in S/R/E, that's why he left his uncle's house and managed to get to Ever Grande and have a full team. Sure, there weren't updated screenshots or even the sprite but I found Wallt a great character way back in Sapphire and a more capable rival (personality wise) than Birch's child.
I would like to see Wally involved with the evil teams' plot, questioning both sides and also shed some light to the player while giving us human players a meaningful message.
As for Mega-evolution, the less the better. We already have Steven filling that role. Wally deserves more "screen" time but not about Mega-evolution.

That's because it's promoting Mega Gallade, otherwise, there wouldn't be another artwork. He really seems healthy but that might be at the beginning of a battle!

One thing I don't like in both artworks is his hair's new green! I'm thinking it now has that colour to better match the green in (M)Gallade but I prefer the older one.
