Weavile lock

Hey guys I took a look at Weavile UD and I think he has alot of potential! I wanted to make a deck with it kinda like sablelock! So I gathered a whole bunch of cards and will attempt to make a deck with it!

Heres what I have so far (this isnt a list btw, just ideas)
- 3 or 4 Sableye SF for a donk opportunity and T1 Impersonate for disrupting or setting up
- 4-4 Weavile UD with Sneasel UD, one of the main attackers and has great disrupting power and a not bad attack, but I can abuse Sneasel's attack Beat Up with memory berry
- 1-1 or 2-2 Umbreon UD for walling against a whole bunch of decks
- 2-2 Garchomp C Lv X for sniping, same purpose as in sablelock
- 1 or 2 Crobat G
- Maybe a Dragonite FB tech
- 1 Chatot G for making them draw crap
OR
- 1-1 Slowking HGSS for making them draw crap
- Unown Q for easier retreats
- 2 Uxie LA for draw

Now these are the pokemons I will try to work with, some might leave and some new ones might join.
Other pokemons I thought of are mewtwo lv x, honchkrow SV, shedinja SV

For the Supporters and trainers I don't really know the numbers yet but here are ALL the supporters and trainers that might go in
- Bebe's Search
- Pokemon Collector
- Cyrus's Initiative
- Cyrus's Conspiracy
- Aaron's Collection
- Judge
- Looker's Investigation
- Team Rocket's Trickery
- SSU
- Pokemon Communication
- Memory Berry
- Luxury Ball
- Broken Time Space
- Poke Turn
- SP Radar
- Power Spray
- Energy Gain

For the energies it will probably go like this
4 DCE
4 SP Dark
2-4 Dark
maybe warp energies

Thats all I got so far, hope you guys can help me build the deck

IMO its weavile or garchomp. It takes too much room to play both consistently, so I would go with weavile. Add SSU, hunter when it comes out, and maybe just play it as a speed deck. Dont forget about weavile's sniping attack.

Yah it isnt as consistent but I dont get to play power spray that is very disruptive! But is it true that I can just play Weavile with more disruption with weavile, sableye, umbreon, slowking or chatot g, and probably 2 crobat G
Sounds good and less expensive :D
If I go towards that path (which I probably will because sp engine is so expensive) what do you suggest for the trainers?

Houndoom UD, his second attack can be very disruptive combined to weavile's power and slowking or chatot G + a supporter like judge, cyrus initiative and team rockets trickery, thats deadly. Also thought about Persian HGSS

Persian HGSS : http://www.pokemon.com/us/trading-cards/database/hgss-series/hgss1/27/

Here is the decklist I got so far, I playtested against my donphan ERL deck and I won with weavile 6-4 in prizes. Umbreon was a great wall and even though I tried countering with relicanth and phanpy I was able to revenge KO with houndoom or weavile pretty easily. I tried getting out ERL with donphan but the disruption was SOOOOOOO intense, Slowking made me draw crap ALL game long and weavile, team rocket and cyrus initiative gave me crappy hands to work with. I had the donking hand with donphan on first turn but my weavile deck had 3 basics on the field and sableye took care of my perfect hand with cyrus initiative. So far I like the playtesting and will keep on testing for a long time and yah this deck has alot of potential if you are able to control the opponents hand all game long like I did against donphan.

3-3 Weavile UD
4 Sableye SF
2-2 Houndoom UD
2-2 Slowking HGSS
1-1 Umbreon UD
1 Unown Q
2 Uxie LA
23

3 Bebe's Search
2 Pokemon Collector
2 Judge
3 Team Rocket's Trickery
3 Cyrus's Initiative
2 Cyrus's Conspiracy
1 Palmer's Contribution
2 Memory Berry
1 Luxury Ball
1 VS Seeker
3 BTS
4 SSU
2 Expert Belt
29

4 SP Dark
4 Dark Energy
8

Still need to improve the trainer line and Also might want to adjust my pokemon line to make it even better and more consistent. Same for Energy line. might want to squeeze in a Chatot G for very early disruption, Also Pokemon Communication might be good.

Take out one Team Rocket's Trickery for either:

1 Judge (consistency)
or
1 Azelf (Prizes)
or
1 Conspiracy (consistency)
or
1 Pokemon Collector (consistency)
or
1 VS Seeker (consistency)

Actually I wont add a 3rd judge, I think I will drop 1 to add a looker's investigation. Azelf is a good idea but he is just so expensive and I dont have one atm, plus I have multiple copies of each pokemon except umbreon which is a tech. I am fine with 2 pokemon collectors. Cyrus's Conspiracy... uhmm Either I keep him to search for my precious energies or I replace the whole thing for 2 pokemon communications for consistency... idk yet. 1 VS Seeker, really like this card so yah might add a 2nd one but I will have to drop a supporter for it... lose consistency. Idk really, the list is so tight! And ive been wanting to add chatot G for early game when I cant get a slowking out, and also wanted to add 2 warp energies since I have nothing with a free retreat cost and only 1 unown Q...

It'll be a league promo. But yeah, I get your reasoning. Don't drop another Judge, two is cutting it close. Yeah, your list is so tight, it's hard to find room for much needed cards. This is one of the times I wish Pokemon was more like Yu-Gi-Oh (*gasp!*), because then you could have up to 80 cards in a single deck. *Sigh...*

Post a deck in the appropriate Forum. This Forum is only for discussing starting combos.

dmaster out.

Weavilelock with Garchomp C added in can be a good deck if built right. My friend runs a Weavilelock deck with Garchomp C and has one the past two tournaments. It's definitely easier to run just Weavile because there's more room for techs and such.

Giratina Lv.X could help with the whole "no hand" for the opponent. The opponent could have chances to do damage actually taken away from them! I like running this with 1 main goal: to reduce the opponents hand to zero and stall them with bad topdecks and Giratina Lv.X!

Decided to try another strategy with it involving abomasnow and glaceon lv x! What do you think has better potential between the 2 lock lists

So I will...
-2-2 Slowking
-2-2 Houndoom
-3-3 Weavile
-2 Memory Berry
-4 Dark Energy
-2 SP Dark Energy
-2 Cyrus's Conspiracy
-1 VS Seeker
-1 Unown Q
-1 SSU

+3 Eevee
+1 Umbreon MD
+1 Espeon MD
+2 Glaceon RR and + 1 Glaceon Lv X
+3 Pokemon Communication
+2-2 Abomasnow
+6 Water Energy
+2 DCE
+3 Energy Exchanger Unit
+1 Premier Ball

1. -1 Premier Ball (With all the bebes, communications and Weavile to get you 1 card of your choice, Premier ball is unessesary.)
2. -1 Energy Exchanger (See #3 for my reason)
3. +2 PONT (Hand refresh is a must in this deck, so I added more hand refresh. Because of this, pulling energy is ten times easier and energy exchanger is not as useful.)
