Weird pokemon cards

I'm a noob to this forum hahaa
I was just wondering, I bought some cards off ebay, and they were only 2 dollars, so that makes me think these aren't fake, because if they were, would the seller be trying to make a profit out of these?

These cards aren't fake. In Japan, pokemon cards look just like that with a silver border and different back ,then in the US.

Oh alright, I was just used to the old school "Pocket Monsters" back. I never saw that back before so I was like WHAT!

Yeah. Those are the Japanese version. There are only two accepted versions: this one andthe one you're used to.

These are also outdated, which probably made them cheaper.

Those cards are not tournament legal, but fun to see different pokemon cards.

Yeah, they're are Japanese cards from the English set, Holon Phantoms and Delta Species. The whole appearence of them is much cooler than English in my opinion. Good buy. The cards look quite cool.
