Funny you should mention that

I'm considering removing the "no role reveal" rule for my next game, and letting this game be played the way it was meant to: full of lies, deceit, and strategy.

Then again, Pokebeach has played twelve games without this rule, and role reveal has become something of a taboo around here. It's not something we can just pick up and be used to.

I'd like this. that would make the game a little closer to what I'm used to.

I have to apologize for shooting you all in the foot by voting off Argetlam. (You sneaky message sender, you), but at least I killed a rocket Night 1, right? And sorry for hitting you night 1, Chillarmy. ;_;

I thought it was pretty obvious that Eevee was a wolf, actually. And I'm not just saying that because I knew by default.
I mean, seriously, you guys didn't even bother looking at how much she flip-flopped on decisions? She'd make a good politician one day.

I do plan on becoming a politician in a few years. I only flip-flopped on one decision and that was whether or not to lynch cornbread.

I thought it was HL too. Eevee, you sneaky little wolf, you.
I am learning from the best.

PMJ, it was a fun game. I am surprised nobody noticed how some of the abilities were opposite of each other.

I got trolled soooooo hard :[
Well, it was partly my fault. I was using Shifty Eyes to read TDL for the first few nights. You showed up right away, and then dmaster showed up a few nights later.

Guess who got night-killed!

You do not know how hard the Rockets were laughing when the seer was taken down AND obscured Night 1
we broke out the good cheeses and the fine wine

It's a shame I got killed so early as I really liked my role and I wanted to survive deep enough to use it. Alas, that did not happen but that isn't a complaint against the running of the game, just smart wolf action (curse you guys).

I have to give my wag of the finger to the Town for this one. Two major screw-ups here:

1. Letting the previous game host survive until the end. Now that will likely never be a factor ever again with the way PMJ will be conducting the next couple games but it was pretty obvious combined with his inactivity in the game. Should have capitalized on that.

2. Letting DNA survive until the end as well. There was only one reason he would survive and it's very simple: He _must_ be a wolf! Why would they let a good player such as him drive all the discussion until the end of the game? Because nobody is gunning for him. Gotta give credit that he stayed just under the radar but I can't help but think this game was lost more by the Townies than won by the Wolves for these two crucial mistakes.

As for the game, I have no complaints. It moved along and it finished. There's nothing more I want to see.

You know, as soon as Day 7 came around, I thought my number was up for sure. Why am I surviving so long? They should have caught on to that. I knew I'd be lynched today for sure. I should have been lynched then! But then Glaceon comes along with his suspicion list and doesn't find anything wrong with me. Sidestep death yet again.
My first sidestep was when Corn Bread pointed me out. He had me pegged and I knew it...but then again, who are they going to believe? Are they going to believe DNA, a veteran WW player, or the new guy? They chose to disbelieve the new guy...to their detriment. And then, whatever seers were probably still alive went to look at my role to see what was up. Of course, they didn't last very long. My paranoia caused me to use Shifty Eyes on myself almost every night after TDL died.

After that, it's just a method of trying to appear inconspicuous...and I do that by saying stuff that's really helpful to the town. Most of this game I tried to play as a townie who wanted to stay alive at all costs. And...I think my playstyle worked. That, or the townies are just really stupid.

But I think this has basically numbered any chances I have of ever surviving through a WW game at PB again. But I survived through one, and that's all I wanted to do. I have no regrets.

By the way, I should apologize to you. I was responsible for you dying so early - I saw you using your night role and, although the main seer was dead, why not kill off potential sub-seers as well?

dmaster, as I have said, inactivity is not the main reason lol. I was very active the last time I was a wolf. It just happened that Werewolf occured during my vacation (where I hang out with friends) and during my transition to cardfight vanguard where i spent a lot of time learning the game. (hence i resigned from modding). You were an active player in Lenny's game and you ended up winning as shadow descendants lol

This game looked amazing, I wish I could have played. I followed the whole thing though, and I'll try to participate in the next game, if it's not in the middle of one of our families summer trips.

Sorry about my lack of posts, I honestly was busy and kind of forgot about this. When I logged in to check on the game, I found I had been voted off already.

Because I didn't get to play much, I don't have too many thoughts on the game. But from what I saw, the game was excellent, I looked over your role PMs and I thought you did an excellent job, PMJ.

I'd like to participate in the next game, I intend to actually play this time. Any idea as to when I can expect the game to be posted? Thanks!

I also intend to play in the next game, now that I know enough not to trust the message sender. When is it going to be up?

As soon as possible.

I've written up about half the roles, but as soon as all 32 are done, I'll post it.

Quite a lot of people mentioned you were posting a lot DNA, but none of them actually explored the idea enough fuller. Perhaps if they did, you wouldn't have survived as long as you did. ;)

Riskbreakers, I'm not saying it was a main reason. But, it was a _huge_ factor. You stayed under the radar just enough like DNA and while it may not have been your fault, people were being too cautious to follow through on their suspicions when they should have. You can't compare me to being active because you have to remember: I didn't even have an ALIGNMENT for the first half of the game. >_> How could I expect to turn into an Independent lol?

Me and DNA were probably to able to argue their points I guess. Well even when you became SD that game, you were still active. Oh well, let's see each other come next game. It was a fine strategy for us not to defend each other and instead go against each other as well. It's like we're acting like individuals rather than a unit during daytime (well except the last day)

I thought this game was amazing! I didn't get to play seeing as I joined poke beach after the game had started. I'm looking forward to the next game with high hopes hopefully This time I get to Play
and....Win!

The last day should have confirmed everyone to you two as it was like 100% obvious at the end (again comes down to the Town losing rather than Wolves winning IMO). You're lucky that you got the bandwagon going though.

I didn't see you guys defending each other but because you two guys blended in with the Townies so well, they weren't able to spot anything super suspicious. You almost acted like polar opposites allowing both of you guys to survive so in that regard, you secretly acted like individuals aligned with a unit (Townies) but distanced yourself enough to keep your unit alignment (Wolves) in tact. Obviously you were a unit throughout the game with your alignment but it was how you kept it in check that allowed you to survive combined with your inactivity and DNA's outactivity (the outspoken opposite I guess lol)

Still mad at the wolves.

I just want to say I really liked the postgame. How PMJ commented on everything. It helps n00bs learn from their mistakes, and gives us why people did something. (cornbread.) I haven't played werewolf since like Werewolf II, so IDK if this kind of postgame is normal. IF it's not, definitely keep it moving forward.

Mafia games on Smogon typically have one. I thought it was a good idea to do the same. Hopefully future hosts will do the same.
