Why on earth would we trust you to refrain from using the vile? Even if killing you means that PMJ dies (TDL's immune to your poison dude), I'd much rather take you town before you have the opportunity to use that third vile. You may not be scum, but you're certainly a threat. We need to silence you.

Also, this role seems like more of a Mafia Poisoner than anything to me. I guess it could be an indie though, but I'm banking on mafia poisoner.

If we keep Pip alive, he may inject more crap in other people, which will make him a more dangerous threat.

End of Day 4

ComfortEagle woke up the next day scratching his arm. He felt moderately itchy now, but he didn't know why.

"Ugh, what a night," he mumbled. "Did I really have too much to drink?"

"I dunno," oyeah1988 said, "but I saw TheGuy and King Piplup heading into your house last night."

"What? Why would they do that?"

"I dunno."

"Well, Guy probably just wanted to leave me a note and diss me...which explains the note I was left on my nightstand. But I don't know who King Piplup is...but I feel he's dangerous. I feel really funny and I bet it's his fault."

And thus votes were taken to lynch King Piplup. It was basically unanimous. King Piplup was led away cackling to the gallows, screaming "Killing me isn't going to accomplish anything, you idiots! The damage has been done; it doesn't matter whether I live or die!"

And with a fit of maniacal laughter, he gave up the ghost.

King Piplup was:

The Assassin
Alignment: Vigilantes

You are a highly trained assassin working with the vigilantes. Your skills at dealing death are unmatched, and you know at least 3 ways to kill a man with a single paper clip. But, of course, you know that knives and guns are usually more efficient.

Ability : Death-Dealer
Use : Once per night; once per game.
When you use this ability, PM me the name of any 1 player, except yourself. Three nights later, at the end of that night, you will kill that person. This does not include the vigilante nightly kill. You can't use this on the same night as Neutralizer.

Ability : Neutralizer
Use : Once per night; once per game.
When you use this ability, PM me the name of any 1 player, except yourself. At the end of the next night, that player's roles are all negated, except for mason roles. You can't use this on the same night as Death-Dealer.

Ability : Secret Hideout
Use : Always on.
You have free access to the Vigilante's Hideout, and can use it to communicate at will with your team.

Win condition: Vigilantes must match, or exceed, the remaining number of players

The town cheered at the fact that there were now three vigilantes dead in three days...especially since this newest one seemed to be the vigilante's most dangerous member yet. Then they carried ComfortEagle off to the bar again and had another few rounds of songs and beer.

Guys, I've only gotten night role data from about half of you. I do not like this.
Please try to hurry it up if you can.

This is mostly to those who haven't sent in their data yet. Most of you have been very punctual about it, which is good, but I want all of you to be punctual.

Okay, as far as I know, I sent PMs to all of you who needed night role data. If I didn't, let me know.

Day 5

Tonight seemed to be a night for weird occurrences, it seemed. ComfortEagle was convulsing violently in his sleep that night, and when it was all over he seemed to feel a lot weaker. He woke up in the middle of the night, washed his face, said 'no big deal' and went back to sleep.

Two other people appeared to be up late at night as well, in some shack down the road. One appeared to be very paranoid.
"Hey, you can see my future, right? I'm kinda scared I'm gonna die."
"Don't worry, you aren't going to die. Just relax and take it easy."
"You sure about this?"
"I wouldn't be if I wasn't as good at my job as I am. Now go home and get some rest."
"All right. Thanks."

The former man left through the front door, and the latter packed up her belongings and left through the back door. Unfortunately for her, one of the vigilantes was already waiting for her there, and shot her dead. It was ShadowLugia.

The Psychic
Alignment: Dusty Gulch

You are the town's psychic. Your practices have come into question lately - but then again, that's part of the job for a psychic. Yet, you don't wish harm on anyone, and when hearing of the vigilantes, you decide to put to powers for good use.

Ability : Protection
Use : Once every other night.
When you use this ability, PM me the name of any 1 player, except yourself. If you do, the next time that player is targeted for a night kill by anyone, that player won't die. You aren't allowed to target the same player more than once, until Protection wears off on that player. If Protection activates and successfully protects a player, you will be notified via PM.

Ability : Crazy Cat Lady
Use : Always on.
Your cat is also a player in this game. Its name will be given to you in a separate PM (mason group).

Win Condition: All threats to Dusty Gulch removed


Meanwhile, the gods were raging at safariblade for making so many amateur mistakes, and so they decided to smite him before he could make another one. He was then modkilled.

Alignment: Dusty Gulch

You are the town's doctor. Your primary purposes is to help and tend to the wounded, and you pursue this with a passion. You're not exactly fond of this conflict, but you do what you must.

Ability : Examination
Use : Once every other night.
When you use this ability, PM me the name of any 1 player. If you do, the effect of any night role that is affecting that person (including from previous nights) is removed. (This doesn't include roles that just pick a person's name for an effect.) You can't use this on night 0.

Win Condition: All threats to Dusty Gulch removed

The town now seemed to be down by two very important individuals. Would they be able to mount a counter-offense against the vigilantes now, dwindling though their numbers might be?


Day 5 ends Sunday, July 29th, at 11.59 Pacific Daylight Time. There are 22 people left alive, so 12 votes are required to end the day.

Ack! ShadowLugia, no...! He didn't go down without protecting somebody though. Sources tell me that he got off a protection spell before his death which makes three people of Dusty Gulch immune to one night kill. I am not sure I want to reveal WHO exactly he targeted, but rest assured, he targeted THREE of the good guys.

DON'T. The wolves might target these people if you don't reveal the names, so if you don't reveal them we might get some free-from-kill nights.

Yeah, don't reveal them. Nooooooo! We lost the priest! (Unless there's more than one priest role...) The wolves either got really lucky or somebody squealed on SL. Mabye his cat is a wolf and ratted him out?

Nah, I'm pretty positive that the cat (ohyeah, obviously) is not a wolf. (Maybe an indie, but not a wolf.) They would have outed such a big treath to the wolves much earlier. Also, on the other hand, how does the protection help anyone if the cat is a wolf? Like the wolves would probably know who gets protected in that case.
Aaaalso. A cat as a Viligante? lol

That's not really your typical priest role, but it might be that this game doesn't have a normal priest, so... dunno. ;P
