Why?

If we vote TheGuy, we could get him now, but we could not. I would say we vote for him because he didn't lie about his win condition. He has a chance of living each time he dies.

One Approved first voted yesterday. MIA since Day 2, back Day 5. Has not contributed at all.

Just because he can die, doesn't necessarily mean he will die if we go for the lynch. In his role, does he get limited activations of that protection?

No that is not true, and we may not successfully kill him today. Again, DNA probably flips a coin or uses Random.org.
