Man, all this laziness with reading posts. You guys should be glad this game is moving slow compared to others that I've seen. "It's day 1" is no excuse to slack off.

Our werewolf metagame is evolving, and we should all change with it. We're no longer slacking around on Day 1 waiting for a slip up.

Alright, guess I am officially subbed in for SalamenceTrainer. I caught up with all the posts, although some I skimmed so I apologize if I missed some fine details. However, Camoclone went very aggressive in the beginning and I think it helped. He went very aggressively against James and Haunted Water, both which eventually switched their votes away from Camoclone after he went after them even more. Not too sure about Haunted Water, but I have a feeling in my gut about James. He seems very scummy to me.

As for taking over the role of SalamenceTrainer, I kinda wish I had played from the beginning but I guess you play with the hand you're dealt. I'm a serious hater against role reveals so being put into someone's place who role revealed bugs me to no end. No point in avoiding the inevitable questions to come so I will confirm that I am Mew as SalamenceTrainer said earlier. As to why he role revealed, that beats me. If I die night 1, well, I will be a very sad panda. But warning to the wolves, if you kill me, there will be repercussions.

James is what my gut is telling me.

Our werewolf metagame is evolving, and we should all change with it. We're no longer slacking around on Day 1 waiting for a slip up.

When the game has a day start and we have literally nothing to work with, the game basically devolves into random stupid chat until someone says something someone doesn't like (i.e. camoclone), people say something to the effect of "grr, I don't like what you said, it's day one and we might as well", and then votes for the offending player. Everyone else agrees that there is no better option to lynch and starts jumping on the wagon (though they may also say they've "got their eye on" or are "watching" someone for possible scum behavior. The day ends, the offending player having been lynched. Then once we start the day two, after we've had a night of actions and the scum do their night kill, then we'll have something to go on.

The only way we're going to get any reasonable discussion out of day one is if someone posts their role and we can discuss that. In fact, since we already have a claim, let's talk about it.

Salamence claimed Mew. I think this is a legitimate claim because he did the same thing in the spinoff. In the anime, Mew is very shy and spends a lot of its time hiding; in the VG, Mew is a jack-of-all-trades capable of performing virtually any task you need him to (note that JOATs do exist in mafia - I've used them myself); and in the TCG, Mew frequently has the ability to copy its opponents' attacks. These abilities could very easily transfer 1:1 to mafia, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Salamence--I mean Lenny--have a combination of any or all of these talents.

Salamence...probably shouldn't have claimed, lol.

So those are my thoughts. Comments, anyone?

I actually agree that James's recent posts do make him sound pretty scumming, but I'm keeping my vote on teal for now, as he has been acting strange this game and I really don't think I can trust him.

Also, to me it is so clear that Camoclone's town, that if he dies, it can be presumed that a majority of the people who voted for him are wolves imo. I just don't see how anyone who is town is voting for him other than the fact they think he's annoying (that's honestly not a reason to vote for someone). I see him as a way the wolves can bandwagon against a townsperson without being suspected too much, and I believe some of them are seizing the opportunity.

Also, if we do end up lynching James, and he turns out to be a wolf, I feel that it'll clear Camoclone (at the very least) as well as glace (probably) as anti-wolf.

camoclone is being crazy aggressive, and stupid, and rude, and a hypocrite, and he has a lot of votes. Teal said he was God, but then was like "nope, Chuck Testa." SalamanceTrainer claimed Mew, and then got subbed out for Lenny because why not. James got a warning for PMing camoclone about being a hypocrite, and I think that's about it. It's Day 1, so the discussion is mostly stupid discussion.

I also claimed thing close to God >:O

@camo, I don't know right now, they seem a tad strange to me but about the same as I see you. I'll re-read their posts tomorrow because I need sleep now that school's back

Because I used to hold a grudge against James for something different. He's not immature, he just has a weird sense of humor and amusement.
And I'm defending him because I don't think it's morally right to even go after someone through personal and emotional attacks in Werewolf. There's playing a game, and then there's just being a tool. You can 'scumhunt' or point out logic flaws all you want, but when you're not doing either, there's a line that can be crossed.

It's always amusing to see people say "if you kill me something bad will happen!!!!"

Most of the time people are lying about it. Since Lenny has a big target on his back, it's not surprising to see him also make this claim. The question is, then, how long will the wolves leave him alive?
