RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Night 1 ends Jan 13 at 5 PM EST

Two hours to go, and I still haven't received a PM from tons of people. You all know who you are.

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Night 1 ends Jan 13 at 5 PM EST

The deadline is being extended to 9 PM EST to hopefully allow some more people to get their actions in, as well as to allow me to get caught up with work.

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Night 1 ends Jan 13 at 5 PM EST

I'd like to apologize, but I'm going to have to postpone Day 2 until Friday. I've got midterms all week long, and I can't afford to jeopardize my grades by taking time out from studying to prepare everything. Thank you all for being patient. I can assure you that it'll be well worth the wait though... heh heh.

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Night 1 ends Jan 13 at 5 PM EST

Exams are over! I'm sure you're all just as happy as I am. Time for a bit of action.

He found the first ace waiting for him on his doorstep, that night. Someone had left it there. On the card, there was an address, as well as a set of instructions. Sighing, he opened up his door and went inside to gather what he would need. He unlocked a drawer, pulling out a gun and a bullet, which he loaded into the chamber, then concealed the gun in his jacket.

He left his house and walked down the street, unsure of what would happen. The night was quiet, and the streets were practically devoid of all life. No one wanted to be caught outside with werewolves on the roam.

The address wasn't exactly what he had expected. He assumed there was a house here at some point, but it must have been torn down long ago, because there was only an empty lot left, with back alleys leading into both corners. He leaned against a light post and waited.

No more than a few minutes later, he heard a rummaging sound coming from the alley on his left. Taking out the gun, he put his finger around the trigger, ready to shoot. As he got closer to the alley, the noise stopped. He eased his way around the corner, when all of a sudden, something leaped at him. He fired the gun, catching his assailant mid-air, before turning and fleeing for his life. He heard the body hit the ground behind him with thud, but didn't dare to look back. He didn't stop until he was back at his house with the door deadbolted shut.

------------------------------------------------

Silas was barely hanging on to what was left of his life. The bullet had caught him square in the head, and he didn't know how much longer he'd have to live. The only reason that he was still conscious was because he was a werewolf, but he wouldn't be able to hang on for much longer.

How could I have been so careless? he thought. I've managed to live for this long, only to be taken down by some random person?

His cries of pain alerted the rest of the pack, which hadn't been too far behind him. They bounded over to him, desperate to try and save their leader.

"Go... it's too late for me," he managed to spit out. "You... you know what to- urgh- do..."

With his last words still on his breath, WanderingWolf succumbed to his injury.

WanderingWolf has been killed! He was:

Silas Cupun
Alignment: Wolves

You are Silas Cupun, a shaggy looking, wild-eyed man who has been a werewolf for as long as you can remember. Your dark secret was discovered once before, which resulted in you being chased out of your country hometown by an angry mob. You made your way here, to seek refuge in Seleno City. The city, as it turns out, is the perfect place for a werewolf to hide; the darkness of night in addition to the already shady alleys allows you to slip around virtually unseen. But you're tired of running, so you've decided to turn things around and lead the hunt for once.

Ability #1: Alpha Male
- Once per night, you may send the host a PM with the name of one wolf player and non-wolf player. The non-wolf will be killed, and the wolf will be the one who carries out the job. If you die, then this ability will be passed onto one of your teammates.

Ability #2: Midnight Raid
- Once per night, if you are not holding an item, or are passing one on, you may PM the host the name of one player. If they are holding an item, you will take it from them.

Active Effect #1: Creep Factor
- Your vote counts for -3 votes instead of the regular amount.

Active Effect #2: Strength of the Pack
- You can freely converse with the other wolves through the wolf forum. Their identities will be sent to you in a separate PM.

Win Condition: At least one player allied with the wolves is alive when all other players are dead, or when nothing else can prevent the same.

"You heard what he said," growled one of the other wolves. "Let's move out."

------------------------------------------------

William Merino woke with a start to the sound of shattered glass. He sat up immediately, trying to ascertain where the house came from.

It's nothing, he thought, trying to reassure himself. The police department had posted an officer outside of his house as a guard, because as mayor of Seleno City, he was a prime target. No one in their right mind would try and break in with an armed officer around.

The slamming of his bedroom door into the wall managed to convince him otherwise. The werewolf that had ripped it open pounced onto his bed, poised above him, ready to attack.

"You've got about ten second left before I end your life," it snarled. "The only reason I haven't done so yet is because we want information."

The mayor only sat there, trembling, with a look of terror on his face.

"So who was it, huh? And how did you know? Answer me!"

"I- I have no idea what you're talking about, I swear!" he said, beads of sweat trickling down his bald head.

"Of course you do! Tell me now!" the wolf screamed.

Seeing his opportunity, William shoved the wolf away from him and off the bed, sprinting for the door. He'd have just enough time to make it out alive. All I have to do is make it to the officer, and he can shoot the wolf before-

Two more werewolves walked through the front door, one carrying the lifeless body of the police officer. Thee mayor turned around, only to find himself face to face with the wolf from his bedroom.

"There's no getting away from us. It's funny that you thought you had a chance," sneered the wolf. With a swipe of its claws, sillykyle was knocked down to the floor, dead in an instant.

sillykyle has been killed! He was:

Mayor William Merino
Alignment: Town

You are Mayor William Merino, the man in charge of almost everything that goes on in Seleno City. You might not always play by the rules when it comes to voting (your opponent last year broke his legs by complete accident, you swear), but you know that you're the right person to lead this city of yours. You even put on a nice show in public, so everyone thinks you're a swell guy. Besides, why shouldn't they? You're not even worried about the threat of werewolves in the city. You're confident that they'll all be dead in no time with you in charge.

Ability #1: Poll Control
- Once per night, three times per game, you may PM the host the name of two players. The next day, if the first player casts a vote for anyone, their vote will be redirected to the second player you chose.

Ability #2: Bestow
Once per game, during the night, you may PM the host the name of one player. If you do, that player will be given a Key to the City, an item that increase their vote weight by one. If that player is already holding an item, this ability will not work, and you can try again another night.

Win Condition: At least one player aligned with the town is alive when all wolves and threatening indies have been eliminated.

------------------------------------------------

Also that night, in no relation to the past events, Prince Dedenne decided that life pretty much sucked, so he drove his ice cream truck off of a bridge.

Prince Dedenne has been killed! He was:

Richard Rocco
Alignment: Town

You are Richard Rocco, the driver of the city's ice cream van. Your ice cream truck is best known for its delicious vanilla soft-serve, since after all, that's the only type you sell! Vanilla cones, vanilla dishes, vanilla with hot fudge, vanilla with jimmies; if it's vanilla, then you have it! Too bad that ice cream isn't a very effective werewolf slaying tool, or you might be able to actually help. Oh well.

Active Effect #1: The One and Only
- You are the only player in the game who is completely without any special abilities or active effects. That might not sound great, but hey, at least you know that other people are lying if they claim to be vanilla as well!

Win Condition: At least one player aligned with the town is alive when all wolves and threatening indies have been eliminated.

------------------------------------------------

The next morning, Scorched Feathers was found completely knocked out. Nothing anyone could do would wake him, so they decided to leave him be.

Later, whispers were being passed around through the crowd of people waiting outside of city hall. News had gotten out that a dead werewolf had been founding lying in an abandoned lot.

Everyone quieted up when Inspector Nye, who they were introduced to the other day took the podium with a somber expression on his face.

"Many of you have heard by now the rumors that one of the werewolves is dead," explained Nye. "I'm here to let you know that they are in fact true. One of our men found the body this morning." With that, the crowd went into an uproar, excited from the good news. "I regret to inform you, however," he went on, "that there was more than one casualty last night." He paused for a moment. "Mayor William Merino was found dead along with one of our men in his house. We've determine that this was most likely the work of the werewolves."

Everyone was now in shock. The mayor, dead? The one who just yesterday was so confident that all would turn out well? If he could be struck down so easily, what could any of them possibly do?

"This is not, however, the end of our hunt," he continued. "We won't stop until the city is safe. I will be taking over for our late mayor until this crisis is over. Let's not let his death be in vain."

It was time again for the citizens to decide who would be the next of them to go.

------------------------------------------------

Day 1 has begun, and will end at 4 PM EST, Friday January 24. A minimum of 15 votes are needed for a majority lynch. Scorched Feathers may not post and may not be voted for today.

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Day 2 ends Jan 24 at 4 PM EST

VOTE: KEEPEROFNIGHT
I know who the vig is...

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Day 2 ends Jan 24 at 4 PM EST

That's hilarious Camo.
Because I caught you breaking into a building last night.
By coincidence, a wolf broke into the mayor's house last night.

Even if I was the vigi, you realize that's a town role right?

Your not the vig... I'm not going to tell anyone who the vig is.

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Day 2 ends Jan 24 at 4 PM EST

KoN is scum because of my D1 OMGUS stage and WW's defense of KoN for no reason.

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Day 2 ends Jan 24 at 4 PM EST

I never defended Wander.
Show me where I did that.

If you're referring to my post of "Wander is probably not scum" then excuse me for not thinking that an old man was a werewolf. It was night, he should have been transformed.

Read my post for details please and don't skim it.

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Day 2 ends Jan 24 at 4 PM EST

I didn't skip it at all.
You were at a RVS all day yesterday, caused confusion, and almost had yourself policy lynched.
Now, go find the post where WW defended me, because I didn't see it.

The OMGUS incident is what I'm referring to and curious interactions between you 2.

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Day 2 ends Jan 24 at 4 PM EST

...Come on Camo.
Explain your reasoning.

What OMGUS incident and what curious interactions?

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Day 2 ends Jan 24 at 4 PM EST

One of the strongest wolves and probably the two weakest town gone, that's good. I'm a little confused as to why Prince Dedenne died, but now we know there are no more vanillas (unless TT took a page from PMJ/Eagle's "troll" game idea).
Nice flavorful update TT :) Now I'm going to review over day 1, bye.

We have been over this *sigh* my random vote. Also HW is also scum. Not sure on Alex though.

Also this is really wolfy considering it is obvious you misread it.

Re: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Day 2 ends Jan 24 at 4 PM EST

Reasoning, Camoclone. Now. Before I vote park on you again. And don't do any of that OMGUS crap either.

RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Day 2 ends Jan 24 at 4 PM EST

We have not been over this at all.
You need to be able to back up your arguments.
I remember your random votes, yes.
I dot remember an OMGUS from anybody but you, and I never interacted with Wander anymore then I would have with another town. Remember, I just knew he was an old man. That doesn't exactly scream wolf, does it?
