RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Night 2 ends Jan 28 at 9 PM EST
I'd like to apologize for the delay for this day update. My grandmother had to be taken to the hospital, so needless to say, these past couple days have been quite busy for me. Anyway, let's get this day started, shall we?
------------------------------------------------
Isabelle King trudged down the desolate city street, frustrated to no end about the events of the past few days. This was her third night alone in Seleno City, and her situation hadn't improved much.
The one time I decide to visit this damn city, and I'm sucked into the middle of a werewolf lynching! she thought.
Why did I even come here in the first place? I haven't been able to find Adrian at all... She climbed up the steps of a house, and prepared to knock on the door to ask for some information on where her brother could be found. She rapped urgently, and waited for someone to answer.
The door creaked open, and a man in his mid-twenties answered, half asleep and in pajama pants. "Hello," began Isabella, "by any chance, do you-" And then it struck her. "ADRIAN, IT'S YOU!" she shouted. Her brother's eyes lit up with the recognization.
"Sis!" he answered, "What the heck are you doing here? And at night, of all times! It's past curfue, and unsafe. You might get attacked by a werewolf if you're not careful."
"I'm sorry Adrian, but I just had to find you. I haven't seen you in forever, and I thought it would be a good time to visit. I guess my judgement skills were a little off this time." She managed a weak laugh.
"Well then, let's get you inside, Izzy. I've got some cold ramen left over if you'd like."
"That sounds fantastic," she said. "But I told you not to call me Izzy anymore!" The two laughed, just happy to be together again.
"Put your arms up, and where I can see them, demon wolf scum!" came a nasally voice from the bottom of the steps. While they were talking, a strange looking, slightly overweight man in a spandex costume had run up behind them. There was a red "V" emblazoned on his chest, and in his hand was a gun, pointed straight at Isabella.
"What's the meaning of all this?!" shouted Adrian.
"Step aside, citizen!" warned the stranger. "For it is I, The Vigilante! Defender of Seleno City! This she-wolf was attempting to gain access to your house! It's a good thing that I caught her in the act!"
"No, it's not at all like that-" she stammered.
"Silence, scum! Prepare to taste justice!" he yelled. He pulled the trigger, and fired a bullet straight into Isabella's chest. With a scream, she fell down, and Adrian dove to catch her.
"Any second now," explained The Vigilante, "she'll transform and attack. Just wait."

From around the corner, hidden in the shadows of the alley, Colin Klein was watching the entire scene unfold, his camera at the ready. He snapped a picture of the strange, super-hero costume clad man who had just shot the woman on the steps.
"This is not good at all..." he breathed to himself. "I'll need to let someone know about that guy before someone else gets hurt in the process."
Suddenly, he felt hot breath on the back of his neck, and a chill went down his spine. He didn't dare to turn and face what was behind him.
"Don't you know that it's not safe to be out at night? You might run into a werewolf," growled a menacing voice. He could almost make out an accent behind the deep, rough voice, but Colin was too paralyzed with fear to mull over the details. He turned to face his stalker, and found exactly what he expected. The werewolf jumped at him, snapping Keeper of Night's neck instantly.
Keeper of Night has been killed! He was:
Colin Klein

You are Colin Klein, photographer for Seleno City's newspaper! ...that is, if the newspaper still existed. It had to shut down a few months ago because it simply wasn't making enough money to continue printing. You blame internet journalism for it. Nobody wants to pay for a newspaper when they can just look stuff up online. But that doesn't matter, you still have a penchant for photography, and do some freelance stuff here and there.

The unsettling howl coming from just a short distance away caught both Adrian and The Vigilante's attentions. The werewolf had emerged from the alley it had been hiding in, dragging the body of a man. The so-called superhero gasped in fear, as the realization came over him.
"I thought- but she wasn't- I just-" he stammered. He started sweating profusely, and turned, running in the opposite direction of the house and the werewolf, who was hunched over its victim's broken body. It locked eyes with Adrian, and let out another howl. Adrain struggled to pull his sister's barely unconscious body into his house, then locked the door and pushed his sofa in front it to make a makeshift barricade.
"Hang on Izzy, it's going to be alright, I swear," Adrian said, holding back tears. He rushed through the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of peroxide and a some bandages. He bent over Isabella, who wasn't looking to good.
"Don't call me Izzy..." she coughed. Adrian began to wrap the bandage around her wound, but he could tell that it wouldn't do very much to help save her. "One last thing. Promise me that you'll make it out of here alive, ok?" she mumbled, her eyelids beginning to droop.
"Izzy? Don't leave me! You're going to be fine!" he choked. She looked at him and managed a smile through the pain.
"It was nice to see you one more time, little bro..." Her eyes slid shut. Adrian collapsed over Camoclone, crying.

For the third time, the people of Seleno City began to congregate at the Town Hall. Word had already spread about the two deaths of the previous night, and their hearts hung heavy with desperation. The leader of the werewolves was dead off the bat, but had their luck already run out?
Also that morning, another news report had gone out. "Good morning everyone, this is Melissa Stone reporting for Seleno News," the newscaster had announced. "Do not lynch Mapleboy."
And so began the day's lynching voting. Would today be the day that they finally begin to make some progress?

Day 3 has begun, and will end at 6 PM EST, Friday February 7. A minimum of 13 votes are needed for a majority lynch.
