RE: Werewolf XX: Seleno City - Night 8 ends Saturday April 19 at 3 PM EST
Father MacKenzie sat down in one of the pews, a book of prayers in his hand. He turned open to an earmarked page, and began to pray silently, beneath his breath. He sat there for minutes in the silence, until he was disturbed by the cooing of the pigeon that had flown in that evening.
"I suppose you'll be wanting some of these," he said, as he pulled out a bag of sunflowers seeds from the pocket of his pants. He had grabbed the old packet from the cathedral's storeroom earlier in case he had the chance to feed the bird. He poured a small pile of seeds into the palm of his hand, and the bird hopped over and began to peck at them.
"It may be a lonesome night, but I'm thankful for the gift of your company, little one," he quietly said, as he watched the bird eat. "I fear I don't have much time left, and I'll take whatever I am given."
From the steeple, the bells began to peal, indicating that it was midnight. "Easter morning..." mused Father MacKenzie. "I had nearly forgotten that the day had neared, in the midst of all this chaos."
Then, with a loud shatter, the stained glass window to his right exploded, as a werewolf landed on the floor on all fours. It snarled as it approached the priest, climbing right over the church pews. The pigeon grabbed a few more sunflower seeds in its beak, and fluttered up into the rafters.
"Alright, I know that it's me you want," said Father, "but the stained glass? Really now?"
"It's not the only thing that's going to broken when I'm through with you, old man," it taunted. "Make peace with your god, and let's end this."
"Oh, I've already come to terms with my fate," he calmly spoke in reply. "It was bound to happen sooner or later, and I suppose that today is a fitting date for me to rejoin with my heavenly Father." He closed his eyes and held his arms at his side. "Go on. Get your dirty crime over with."
"If you insist," laughed the wolf. With a lunge, it landed on top of the priest, raking its claws across his chest. The pigeon swooped down from above, and fluttered around the werewolf's head in an attempt to peck his eyes, but it swatted it away with a snarl, sending it flying out of the broken window unharmed.
The werewolf lingered for a few moments, checking to make sure that its victim was dead, and then leaped out of the window, disappearing into the night.

Father MacKenzie
Alignment: Town
You are Father MacKenzie, the priest in charge of Seleno City's cathedral. Unfortunately, times have changed, and the attendance of your masses has dropped down so far that some Sundays, no one even shows up. Still, you work tirelessly, writing your sermons during the night, even though no one is likely to hear them. After the werewolf threat was made known, you've sworn to help anyone you can by guarding them in the cathedral until the sun rises.
Ability #1: Sanctuary
- Once per night, you may PM the host the name of one player. They will be taken into the cathedral for the night, where they can not be killed. Once Eleanor Rigby dies, a second part to this ability will be unlocked.

The citizens returned to the city hall the next morning, immediately noticing the lack of the city priest. From where they were gathered, they could see the side of the cathedral, and the gaping hole where the elegant stained glass window previously was. There was no need to investigate the scene; it was already clear what had taken place.
