Yes I have done stuff like this before and I often call ridiculous things correctly. I am not going to disclose my reasons why mainly because I don't have to.
1) Like keeper said, you kinda overreacted.
2) Camo's accusations were obviously made jokingly. They completely weren't serious. If you were a townie you would have realized that and not replied the way you did, but perhaps went along with it or ignored it.
3) Voting you in this situation is better than RVS no matter which way you put it.
4) Plus, you're a super mod

I don't know how you're used to playing this game and what the norm is, but for me it makes sense to defend yourself when someone accuses you. The reason I reminded him of our conversation was because it was relevant to countering his argument and I mainly posted the screenshot because I thought the webcam joke was funny (I would have cut off the conversation much sooner on the screenshot if it wasn't for that).
If you lynch me at least you'll find out sooner that your logic isn't always that logical. It might help you and with that the town for future days (if you're aligned with town that is). I know the chances of lynching a wolf on the first day aren't very high and I'd rather have no lynch at all for that reason. If we do lynch I don't mind being the first. I'm not voting though unless someone seems really suspicious.

I was explaining myself by giving the reasons for saying what I said. I don't mind claiming at all. I don't know any of the people from my role so I'm not that excited about it. Maybe the game is focused on players of the past (before I joined) or maybe I just got unlucky.
Here's my PM, since we're allowed to c/p:

Alignment: Porygon
You are Kronar, a member of PokeBeach Forums. Porygon once made your face an icon for his chat room and for some unexplainable reason, you have been obsessed with him ever since. You would do anything to make him proud.
Passive Effect: Secret Admirer
You know that Porygon is in the game as a serial killer. (His identity will be sent in a separate PM.) He does not know your identity, nor does he know you are aligned with him. You are not allowed to converse with him privately. If Porygon dies, you will receive a new role PM, but you will lose your safe claim.
