RE: Werewolf XXIII: A Sacrifice for Anti-Arceus [DAY 1: ends Friday 26th]

So I have read through all the posts. What is even going on.

RE: Werewolf XXIII: A Sacrifice for Anti-Arceus [DAY 1: ends Friday 26th]

I think we should all be civil and be friends. Maybe everyone could just hold hands, and form a council to decide who should be voted out. Instead of you know voting for someone every time they something somewhat scummy then 3 posts later unvoting and voting for the next person.

TT should've left his ability IMO and wait for a 'bad lynch' to happen and somehow trick people into thinking he's dead. Now the wolves won't touch him because he's going to die anyway. Oh well.

Huh? Presumably he misread the role, but unlike rev who also made an error with the role, he hasn't told us about it. Plus, why would TT want to trick the town? It sounds like a strange and fairly dumb idea... And even though I don't think it is necessarily scummy, I do think it is a possible plan without the town's best interest in mind...

My reasoning for why I think it's bad is because he can use himself as a decoy on Day 3 if things go sour (in his eyes at least) I dunno, I wouldn't have revealed

Blui said:
Camo does that. Really. Every game I've been in Camo just votes and unvotes on day 1.

@Celever revealing this early was a horrible idea.

I don't think I'll vote today, it seems a little early.

His first response is really just echoing what the rest of us said before... Makes it look like contribution when it really isn't.

He then said "Celever revealing this early was a horrible idea". Well, where the hell were you when I was asking whether I should reveal or not? The fact that he just said "it was a bad idea" is also just stating the obvious, and is just a bit strange... It kinda rubs me up the wrong way. It's like when people say "well that night kill was bad for us!" It contributes nothing but gives the impression of contribution. WHY was it a bad idea, and what can we do now that I have claimed to try and salvage the situation? These are the sorts of things you should be posting if you want to comment on a situation like this...

Then he said "I don't think I'll vote today." Why the hell would you NOT vote? The main reason I can think of to not vote is so that it doesn't look like you totally committed to a lynch if the lynch ends up incorrect and someone just goes back to look through the vote counts to see who targeted me. This is an especially interesting theory in this instance because if he really is scum he would know that I am in fact not and wouldn't want to be associated with me. Blui, why did you not want to vote today?

I was asleep when you were asking if you should reveal or not. I am Australian. Timezones exist. As for the voting thing, nothing really stuck out to me. At the time, I didn't think it would go anywhere, but a few posts later I vote because you made the post where you stated "once the site realises I'm a scummy f*ck" I just thought to myself 'seems like an alright Day 1 lynch target'. But at this point, you've earnt my unvote.

People have lives outside of Beach.It's only been a day. But this post bothers me. The problem is that one game you will actually be scum. When that day happens we have a big problem.

##VOTE: Celever

Scummy players get lynched.

It had only been a day, but I was already almost lynched in that time span. Anyway, the post isn't even directly related to the game. You may say that one game I will be scum and will get through free, but my play style does change as scum. I usually get even scummier! (yeah, it's possible lol) so this is just a bit of an FYI. However... YOU JUST VOTED! Why would you suddenly vote for me after saying "I don't want to vote today". It was only a couple of posts apart, too... I mean, it was like 20 posts but in the grand scheme of things it's not that much. This is now a clear contradiction, and I really feel like this is you trying to blend in with the rest and not brought into the lime light. My main problem is that it is just such a contradiction with your ethos for the day and it was wasted on a basic bandwagon vote...

I love the band wagon. But yeah I see the problem, as I stated above, I didn't think I'd be voting at the time. But then you made that post and I don't want to take any risks in the game. If someone acts scummy, should we leave them or lynch them?

Blui said:
These were a minute apart Camo. Seriously. Just stop with all these meaningless posts.

Yeah... Read the thread. That is all. At least you apologised for this misreading!

Yeah my bad, but he's still voting and he doesn't need to

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I really don't feel like I made this case very well, but this is all of his posts today (minus the short apology) and as you can see they are all pretty... well, non-contributory but they really stick in your mind. He's also not really expressed any opinions besides his lynch vote on me, which to me was just a mafia member trying to fit in. Camo is apparently on-board with this possible lynch, so if you want to make a better case be my guest! :)
Well Day 1 is always kind of boring, we never have leads or anything.
##UNVOTE: Celever
Now, let's see who else hasn't posted:
dmaster: Just his sign-up post. Having 5 mute Pokémon so far is extremely unlikely.
dmaster hasn't posted, because he is a sub
I decided to leave dmaster for subs because I got the feeling from his post that he would be okay with that. Hopefully you don't mind!
Back on topic to the game, I'm not really sure what I think at this point, I understand the reasoning behind people voting for Celever, I don't think he is necessarily the best lynch candidate at the moment. I do find the fact that he has kind of given up even though we still have a few days left to play is kind of odd, but not worth lynching yet. Also, I think Camo's speech impediment seems kind of hard to believe. He already votes and unvotes a lot, and it seems to convenient that he of all people would get that role. I realize that roles are random and anything is possible, it's just that one seems a little hard to believe. I also think bbninjas is acting strangely, but that's probably because he is new, not necessarily because he is scum.
Even if you have your doubts think about it. If I were lying what good would claiming that do?
@Wailord who is the best lynch candidate in your opinion?
RE: Werewolf XXIII: A Sacrifice for Anti-Arceus [DAY 1: ends Friday 26th]
Glad that people aren't flowing Camo and voting Celever anymore. Instead they're going after everyone else Camo points out, which is... Well, it's actually giving us a better sense of people, surprisingly. A few people do seem more suspicious than others. Celever included, I'll admit, but Camoclone is still in there as well. I can't say I'm confident voting for anyone else right now, so I'm still watching you Camo. You seem a bit too confident leading the townies, but I can't say I mind probing blui, MtC and the likes.
You have no reason to lie about it, as it would only be beneficial for you Day 1. I was just saying it's unlikely, that someone who already votes a lot would be forced to vote a lot. What will happen if one of the days you don't meet the 5 vote requirement?
I'm honestly not sure yet. I find Celever and Blui to both be somewhat suspicious, but I feel like not enough people have said enough to really judge who is lynch-worthy. The Celever thing happened pretty early in the day, and the rest of the day has pretty much consisted of RVS, then Celever defending himself and people accusing Celever. There hasn't been enough time for people to really talk about things other than Celever, so I don't really have too many suspects so far.
Was just a joke
Also, lol at the purposeful hypocrisy.
I don't have awful skimming skills.
Quality post right here people. Honestly with this and your idea about all wolves being unable to post d1, I'm starting to wonder if you're just purposefully setting a precedent for making bad posts so we just think you're a noob instead of suspecting you for anything later on.
Also it's possible that camo has a role that gains effects depending on whom or how many votes he makes or affects those he votes for. I find it hard to believe he of all people would get an imped like this.
RE: Werewolf XXIII: A Sacrifice for Anti-Arceus [DAY 1: ends Friday 26th]
I believe that bbninjas is just acting like a newbie because he is one, but the one thing I did notice is how he had such an exact number for the amount of wolves when this is his very first game. This must be like my 6th by now, and I never even gave much thought to the numeric size of factions. It's kind of weird that he just assumes the number perfectly matches the number of inactives, unless he knows for sure that there are that many wolves, which I don't think he could unless he was one. Out of curiosity, how many wolves were there on average in past games anyway?
About 6 in a game this size. bbninjas told me he looked into WW a little bit (this was before the game started), so that's probably where he got the estimate from. Although his reaction did seem rather "matter of fact". I don't know, that is kind of suspicious. bb, who do you think is a wolf right now?
RE: Werewolf XXIII: A Sacrifice for Anti-Arceus [DAY 1: ends Friday 26th]
Too much input. Will take some times to digest.. But from rough skimming wht i understand is no clear suspect..
RE: Werewolf XXIII: A Sacrifice for Anti-Arceus [DAY 1: ends Friday 26th]
Well bigfoot and other-person-pressuring me still, I don't post as much when I'm not under fire! I still post more than the average player, but imo slow games help the wolves because the town never gets anywhere, so I try and hurry things up a bit! :p
I'm just saying, you're looking at the amount of posts from someone as they are about to get lynched and using it as a reason to lynch them. People post more under fire, they just do. It isn't a very good reason to me.
RE: Werewolf XXIII: A Sacrifice for Anti-Arceus [DAY 1: ends Friday 26th]
Seeing the amount of post. This game probably doesnt have much role ahve certain post requirement like a max number of post. I remember in a game where my i got a role that i cant post more than 10 times.
RE: Werewolf XXIII: A Sacrifice for Anti-Arceus [DAY 1: ends Friday 26th]
Also, like I have said multiple times, I overreacted because Camo looked like he was going to do to me what he did to Luis last game. I now realize that he did this on purpose, but seeing as how he almost got a townie lynched in Reign of Terror by doing a similar thing, it would scare a townie or a wolf imo.
RE: Werewolf XXIII: A Sacrifice for Anti-Arceus [DAY 1: ends Friday 26th]
wow this game is so active i can't keep up ><
But from what I can see, there's just a bunch of people talking about newbies, activity and camo's voting requirement. Nothing significant to me, so I won't vote. I don't really think Celever's role is not legit, but that he's getting a bit emotional about it, so I won't vote him yet (and give him the benefit of the doubt in this situation).
