Yes, I drew the short straw with Kreacher... But it's not all bad...

Kreacher (Squirtle Squad)

Alignment: Order of the Phoenix
You are the miserable, oppressed house elf of the House of Black. Since taking the Drink of Despair your sanity has become questionable and you have stopped performing many of your duties.

Passive Ability: Unwanted
Your master, Sirius Black, has so much disdain for you and does not care if you die. As such, when you die, Sirius Black will have a +2 vote for the remainder of the game.

Ability: Black Loyalty
Due to your fanatical support of the House of Black and your knowledge of its rich family tree, you know it's relatives as well as you know yourself. Each night, PM me a player name. You will be told if they are a Black.

Single-use Spell: Elf's Apparition
As a house elf you are gifted with the power of apparition stronger then that of any witch or wizard. As such, once a game, at night, you may PM me to use this magic. During the following day, if you would be lynched, you will not die (your role will be revealed).

Win Condition: All Threats to the Order are eliminated.

Through my Black Loyalty power I can confirm Bb and Jeremy as not House of Black members. Draclord was my Night 0 target and we already know that he was a house of black member...

Bigfoot! What info did you get last night??

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Night 2 ends December 29th, at 23:59 GMT

Firstly... you role revealed with not much pressure on you? Okay...
Correct, I'm not a member of the House of Black. Drac, however, was NOT a member of Black, but instead Malfoy. I'm more inclined to believe that's a typo, though, as the role seems realistic.

Only one person (Teal) has voted for you. Definitely no turbo.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Night 2 ends December 29th, at 23:59 GMT

Haha no I was talking about you, haha I was online for one minute and you call me out ;) but I'll forgive!
Hmm Drac was narcissa! Narcisa is Sirius' cousin, she married Lucius so became malfoy (read the books boy!!)

I've said it before (last game!!) but honesty is the best policy!! That's how I role (pun intended...)
Anyway, seeing as how a couple of blacks are dead, Im holding out for me to finally catch Bellatrix... Not sure if luis would count Lucius as being a black (he married one) but theyd have to be two death eaters!! Two of the main death eaters in the story!

Long story short... Bb watch Harry potter :O

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Night 2 ends December 29th, at 23:59 GMT

The people he targeted... They all have been mentioned somewhere and have been "involved" (for lack of a better word) in some way. I don't like the typo. I don't like the early role claim. I don't like his current tone.

##VOTE: SQUIRTLE SQUAD

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Night 2 ends December 29th, at 23:59 GMT

Squirtle Squad, while a full role reveal doesn't seem like it was necessary, your role seems believable enough to me. I trust that you're town. Hopefully you'll find Bellatrix, but don't forget about Tonks, another Black who's probably in this game and town-aligned.

Also, what was that about Bigfoot getting info? I must have missed something the other day.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Night 2 ends December 29th, at 23:59 GMT

SS tell us why you targeted the people you did.

##VOTE: SQUIRTLE SQUAD

I'm pretty sure that 80% of the players in the game have been "involved" in some way. Unless his strategy was to target inactives, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, it seems perfectly fine to me that he'd target some of the more active members.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Night 2 ends December 29th, at 23:59 GMT

Here is what I mean:

BBninjas: Claimed to be part of the Daily Prophet
Jeremy: Was in the Night Update
Draclord: Lynched D1

Those are all "special".

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Night 2 ends December 29th, at 23:59 GMT

##VOTE: SS

You claimed with almost no pressure. Which is kind of rediculous in my opinion.

Camo, you're trying to relate a potato, a trout, and a tube of toothpaste. Like I said, every person in the game has something that's made them stand out so far. If he targeted me, you'd say that I was "special" for claiming Hagrid, if he targeted Teal, you'd say he was "special" for having an extra vote placed on him at the start of the past couple days, and if he targeted Shining Goodra, you'd say he was "special" for being marked for death. I know that you're an experienced player, so why are you trying to draw conclusions from completely unrelated facts?

##VOTE: CAMOCLONE

Ignore this, I just remembered that Bigfoot had limited access to the independent quicktopic. Carry on.

Sorry to see SG was town. As a plus...ish thing, we know Jeremy1026 is not scum. He may not be town, but he is definitely not scum.

How does this work? Please explain. There may be townies or even indies with a killing ability.

With this game's flavor, I find that highly likely, but I will admit that it is a possibility, however small.

Also, I don't believe Squirtle Squad's claim.

I don't see any reason not to believe it.

Why don't you believe it?

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Night 2 ends December 29th, at 23:59 GMT

Where do I start? Guess the top is as good a place as any.

- The "Drink of Despair" is not real. The potion he is referring to was never called the Drink of Despair. That name came from the music that played during that scene in the movie. The potion doesn't have a name in any of the books.

- The Drink of Despair doesn't cause insanity. It doesn't make the drinker lose their sanity. It causes intense pain and extreme thirst, along with forcing the drinker to see their worst fears. Kreacher is pretty jaded because of how Sirius treated him, but he isn't insane.

- The wording is off on both abilities and the spell. Unwanted and Elf's Apparition both preface two sentences with "As such," and Luis hasn't done that in any role PM shown. It's weird. Black Loyalty also says "PM me a player name" instead of "you may PM me a player name" like other roles. I'm also going to mention the it's/its mixup. And before you say that I said not to sweat little things like that, I'll preempt that by saying I said that shouldn't be the only reason you push for someone's lynch. The mixup is just a small part of an overall bigger problem I see with SS's claim.

Plus, why did he claim so fast? Did he not want to get accused of crafting a safe claim? I have never seen anyone claim that fast since TwistedTurtwig. Hot damn.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Night 2 ends December 29th, at 23:59 GMT

So I caught up with about half of the thread so far and will read more later. So far I'm pretty sure bbninjas is town and that even more sure TT is town, since I assume someone would have counter claimed him if he wasn't really who he said he was.

I honestly agree with grantm1999 so far. Lenny does seem a bit suspicious to me with his posts this game, but I'll wait until I've caught up with everything else before I make a vote.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Night 2 ends December 29th, at 23:59 GMT

If you guy think SS is a wolf then it's better to wait, let him use his spell N3 and lynch him D4.

Don't be silly. They are completely related. Look at the facts and what I have said. It makes sense. The people he chose have a higher probability of not being a "black".

What? I don't get it. You want to let us wait for him to use his spell which if he is a wolf is very likely going to hurt us?

The point is that I think he is not a wolf, and thus we would avoid a needless town lynch.

Maybe Luis/SF thought it'd be easier to refer to it by a specific name rather than "the emerald potion in the cave by the sea that's super painful to drink and can't be moved by regular means."

It never specifically states in the flavor that the drink is what causes someone to lose their sanity. But between the extreme pain and thirst, the nightmares, and the bad treatment from the Blacks, it'd make sense for Kreacher to be a little wrong in the head after all that's happened to him. He definitely was a bit off in the books.

In my own role PM, the word "No" is misspelled as "Nu." I can't honestly see "its" being spelled wrong as indicative of anything, as the roles themselves seem to have a few errors here and there. And while one of SS's abilities has "PM me a player name," his spell has "you may PM me a player name." I'm willing to believe that this is just another error on the hosts' part. Sorry you two, but it's important to make sure that all the roles are flawless beforehand... or else this kind of situation arises.
