If Camo is scum, which at this point, I assume he is, he's probably trying to screw with the town as much as possible before his imminent death. That's why he's telling us to look into people. Tomorrow is going to be fun for sure...

And like bbninjas asked, If anyone could confirm my claim is true, I'd appreciate it greatly.

I'm also going to make one more request. Doctor (if there is a standard doctor role in this game), target me tonight. I'm practically confirmed town at this point, and I'm sure that more evidence will come up eventually proving my innocence. So please, target me. Even if you don't, the mere fact that I'm asking for you to do so should create enough of a WIFOM situation to convince the Death Eaters to steer clear of me tonight.

So, you guys smashed down Camoclone to death while I was at League, didn't you? :p

Day 4 Update

Final Vote Count:

  • Camoclone: 12 (Jeremy1026, Teal, Drohn, Celever, bbninjas, Vom, TwistedTurtwig, Camoclone, PMJ, Ice Espeon, Keeper of Night)
  • Squirtle Squad :0 (Camoclone, PMJ)
  • Lenny: 2 (grantm1999)
  • grantm1999: 1 (bbninjas, TheGuy)
  • Drohn: 0 (TwistedTurtwig)

Everyone, as always, was discussing on who to throw into the archway today. However, the day was slow and not a lot of discussion was taking place.

At a certain time, attention was drawn into Camoclone. Points were flying all over the place until someone said:

"It's enough. We'll take you down one way or another, so give up."

"Well..." said Camoclone, "Al least let me give you a hand, ok?", and placed a vote on himself.

Another heap of votes came after, and he was on his way to the archway, beaten up by the other wizards.

Camoclone has died! He was:

Night 4 Update

It was an extremely busy night at Hogwarts. A lot of the wizards got serious about the situation they were in, and began to take actions.

One of the first things to happen was a fairly mysterious one. A certain wizard, up to no good, wanted to protect their allies...

"It's the least I can do. It'll keep us safe for the night. Morsmordre!", cried the wizard.

A black blob flew off the wizard's wand and landed on a cloud, which suddenly transformed into the Dark Mark. It created a type of veil that protected all Death Eaters along the night.

Also, not far from there, another wizard had an evil plot.

"Let's just hope the plan works... Imperio!", conjured the wizard.

A flash of light was thrown by his wand and traveled across the castle. Nothing seemed to be different until a cry was heard at the distance.

"Noooooooooo...!!!", yelled some wizard. However, right after that scream, an evil laugh came from the very same place.

And then, another wizard was doing some research.

"Hm, I guess this might help my investigation. Legilimens!"

He was enlightened and was able to see one of the other wizard's mind.

"Well, this is helpful", he said.

But back into the Death Eater's hall, they were discussing their nightly kill. After a lot of discussion, they came into the conclusion that Teal was the better target.

Not long after the consensus was reached, the Dark Lord sneaked into Teal's dwellings and went over him to kill him...

"Well, that was easy. It's like the fun is going away... Meh, murder is murder, I like it anyhow. *evil laugh*", said Voldemort as he left the room.

Teal has been killed! He was:

Albus Dumbledore (Teal)

Alignment: Order of the Phoenix
You are Hogwarts’ headmaster, member of the Wizengamot, one of the greatest wizards in your time, and nobody doubts that. Well, apart from the Death Eaters, of course. But that doesn't mean you don’t have great powers to harness.

Passive Ability: Longevity
You have been alive for just as long as you can imagine. Thus, can live a little bit more. If you were to be lynched, your role PM will be posted, but you won’t die. Instead, your death will be postponed for a whole day. Thus, you’ll be able to make use of any abilities, spells and the like as usual even after your role has been posted.

Passive Ability: Elder Wand
The legendary wand, part of the Deathly Hallows. This wand has some magic powers that are nowhere near comprehensible. Every time a member of the Ministry of Magic is killed, there’s a 50% chance you’ll receive their spell if they haven’t used it already. This spell will be added to your current one instead of removed. (You can’t cast another spell if another of your spells is currently in effect).

Affiliation: Ministry of Magic
You are part of the Ministry of Magic. Hence, you’ll be able to talk to them freely in a separate chat (You’ll receive the link to the Quicktopic in a separate PM).

Single-use Spell: Aresto Momentum
The time freeze spell. Once a game during the day, you may PM me to cast this spell. The current Day Phase will last 24 hours more than it should. However, no votes can be placed during the 24 hours after you cast this spell.

Single-use Spell: Prior Incantato
The emanation spell. Once during the game at night, you may PM me to cast this spell. The last wand used will fly towards you and give you the description of the last spell used.

Win Condition: All Threats to the Order are eliminated.

*The morning after...*

Everyone started entering the Hall and sat down for breakfast. Once they finished, the Daily Prophet appeared in front of everyone.

Day 5 has begun! Day 5 ends on Sunday, January 18th, at 23:59 GMT.

Notes:
  • 17 players remain, so 9 votes are required to end the day before time, with a Lynch.
  • Current lynch candidate(s): Everyone.
  • ~120 hours remain before Day ends.
  • Celever has been given a warning for posting during the night.

It doesn't look like it... so the most that ability does is lets us lengthen the day by 24 hours. Yay...

I assumed that it would, but I guess I didn't read the ability properly...

OK then, I noticed some suspicious actions of a guy while reading through the night. There isn't much clear discussion going on today, so I guess I'll start to form a case on him now.

Okay... not good.

Teal used his spell last night and recieved the details of Legilimens. The caster, please reveal your results.

Also, I got something this night, but for some reason I have more information than usual:
-Fenrir Greyback targeted Harry Potter with an Ability, and it was blocked.
-Bellatrix Lestrange targeted Fenrir Greyback (not clear with what)

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 5 ends January 18th, at 23:59 GMT

Ladies and gents, today we are accusing TheGuy under the charges of murder and wolfiness!

Note that this is going through all slightly meaningful posts that he has made.

TheGuy said:
Teal is a huge suspect IMO. His wording about what he knew about quick topics seemed like more than simple speculation and thus is could be logically concluded that he is part of a QT which is generally Anti-Town. Certainly there's a higher percentage that he's Anti-Town than a random person which is enough reason to lynch on Day 1.

This was Day 1, and sorta coming out of RVS. Now, TheGuy has done a classically scummy thing here, which is fuelling the wagon without actually placing a vote on there himself. This is especially scummy on Day 1, where votes are p much dispensable. When I was reading through Day 1 to try and find a lead early on, this is what got my alarm bells ringing, so I decided to look into TheGuy further, and I found quite a bit here which would be otherwise easily lost, as he hasn't made a large amount of posts.

TheGuy said:

##UNVOTE: AlexanderTheAwesome
##VOTE: Machamp the Champion

I'm pretty sure town MTC would know better than to go after me.

OMGUS. This has pushed me over the edge.

##UNVOTE: PMJ
##VOTE: Teal

He did later vote for Teal, but for OMGUS? D1 OMGUS doesn't really count. This was still p much RVS, remember.

TheGuy said:
Since my last post I've been getting a serious vibe from Drac's posts that he knew something more than we did - this revelation has come at no surprise.

##UNVOTE: Teal
##VOTE: GM Draclord

Oh yup, yup guys! I knew it all along!

Note: When TheGuy finally decided to lynch Drac, he already had 8 votes on him. Just saying "OK guys, this lynch seems good, I'll go with it" is fine, but saying "I knew it all along but decided not to say anything!" is not. I'm not sure whether I think TheGuy is indie or wolf as of yet (though I'm confident that he's not town), but this is the main thing that's telling me he's indie.

TheGuy said:
I'm going to come to the defense of Keeper. People shouldn't be posting just for the sake of reaching some kind of posting minimum. Posting 92 times in one day without any substance to give in 50 of them isn't great for the town. As long as people are consistently posting when they have something important to say, then they're posting enough. It's just as scummy to not post at all as it is to post unnecessarily many many times in my opinion. Keeper will be doing what I'm usually doing (expect for today because of this ridiculous 10 post minimum), reading and keeping up with the thread but not feeling the need to post about every single subject (many times multiple times) reiterating the same points that have already been brought up by that person already and others.

He's actually defending himself here, not Keeper. Note that he says that what Keeper is doing is a good strategy, and it's "doing what I'm usually doing", which in turn means that TheGuy is performing a good strategy. Subtle ;)

TheGuy said:
xDoggerx... your response?

Seems like a slip to me. ##VOTE: Machamp the Champion

This is pressure, right? Well, no. If you guys can remember the Dogger incident well, you will know that Dogger "slipped", but the original case-maker, Teal, decided to put pressure on the other person "involved" in said slip, MtC. TheGuy was second to bandwagon on this, but he voted for MtC instead of Dogger. This is because he could see some kind of bandwagon forming from the case (it was a good case) and wanted to back the winning horse.

While it is true that soon afterwards, a couple more people joined the lynch (bbninjas, KoN, OAP) these people provided further insight in their posts, and it wasn't just a wagon. TheGuy's was no more than what I quoted, and that rubs me up the wrong way.

TheGuy said:
I have never read or watched Harry Potter so if someone claims a character I actually know (Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbeldore) then it's probably in the game because I don't think I know any others.

The only thing saving Dogger right now is his claim because his logic hasn't been sound about anything. I'd certainly advise against voting for Keeper at all unless Dogger can provide some good reasons for why we should. I'm still worried about dogger though. He could have easily claimed Hermione, anticipating Hermione to be an important role and if he's going to be lynched anyways - he may as well reveal to his fellow scum members the identity of an important character. And from what I've seen there's no way dogger's played 100+ WW games.

##UNVOTE: Machamp the Champion

Just wanted to point out that he protected KoN hard here. He also echoed what others had said at the time, which is exactly what he said he DOESN'T like doing in the earlier quote in which he also protected KoN. I know it's a small thing, but it's worth noting.

TheGuy said:
bbninjas said:
Honestly, I feel like lynching either Machamp the Champion or Lenny, or another scummy but highly experienced player, particularly if we can bring them back if we're wrong, which is what Dogger seems to be implying.

The problem with an MTC lynch is that the evidence against MTC was tied to Dogger - I don't really think he was scummy before dogger's supposed slip. At this point I would definitely lean towards a Lenny or Dogger lynch. Lenny had been acting very strange when accused and dogger is by no means cleared in my book.

What? "Don't lynch MTC he is tied to Dogger and Dogger is good but we should lynch Dogger because Dogger is in no way cleared!" What was he even getting at here? Spreading confusion?

TheGuy said:
Camoclone said:
Lenny is a silly candidate right now in my opinion and everyone attacking him and Grant is being hypocritical.

Why not? I think that Lenny over reacted to a silly argument against him. I'm suspicious of grant for putting forth a silly argument that didn't have any evidence to back it up but I'm suspicious of Lenny because of his reaction to it. It's pretty simple.

"I'm not connected to anyone so if I die you have nothing to go off of in terms of wolf partners!" This was a two-sided argument, and saying that both sides of scum is for the most part flawed. It can be genius in certain situations, but this wasn't one of them, so it was once again TheGuy pretending to be contributing.

TheGuy said:
Camoclone said:
So by asking the question that in theory if you were actually town then it would not really benefit you and you helped the wolves more than you helped town.

I'm thinking Celever didn't even realize he was role fishing - He may have asked a dumb question that helped the scum team but that doesn't make him scum. It seems as though quite a few players seem to be playing differently this game which doesn't necessarily help us (Camoclone, Lenny, Celever).

Echoing others.

TheGuy said:
Luispipe8 said:

12 votes needed to reach majority.

(adding format later)

So, someone or something has already voted for Teal.

Pointing out the obvious.

TheGuy said:
Camoclone said:
The people he targeted... They all have been mentioned somewhere and have been "involved" (for lack of a better word) in some way. I don't like the typo. I don't like the early role claim. I don't like his current tone.

##VOTE: SQUIRTLE SQUAD

The early role reveal works both ways. Part of me thinks he can't be scum because he had his role out so quickly. (I can easily see a new player easily claim like that). However, part of me thinks he's more suspicious because that claim was definitely unwarranted and he may have just wanted to post his newly written fake claim.

Echoing

TheGuy said:
That's really poor play, rev. Well, we get our second easy lynch of the game - I'll take those any day.

##UNVOTE: Squirtle Squad
##VOTE: rev3rsor

It definitely feels like he sorta talking TO rev here, don't you think? Obviously if TheGuy were an indie, he would just use the QT, or so you'd think, but IDK. It still seems sorta wolfy.

TheGuy said:
grantm1999 said:
SS claimed Kreacher right? That seemed believable yesterday...
I want Lenny. We don't have anything to help us believe him as town.
##VOTE: LENNY

This post is reason enough for me to vote for you. This Lenny thing is over.

##VOTE: grant1999

I'm confused about this. "This Lenny thing is over." When? I don't remember Lenny being cleaned? I don't like how condescending and damning he was when he said that, especially because he was umming and ahhing just one day before this (we're at the start of Day 4 now).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And that's it. He hasn't made many posts, and the vast majority of those which he has made (I didn't quote all of them, and the ones I didn't post were p much fluff) were echoing or stating the obvious, which is odd for TheGuy, since I think he is usually quite analytical of various situations. He has a clear bond with KoN from this, so if TheGuy does flip indie like I think he might, I want to look into KoN the next day, even if that means that there were 5 indies from the start. If TheGuy flips wolf, I want to look into KoN, because he is probably a wolf too. If TheGuy flips town... he won't.

OK, so I made this post bearing the fact that we have very few actual leads and reads in this game to go off of, but Vom just posted about grant. Bear in mind that there ARE a large amount of reasons as to why grant could possibly have been immune to your spell, Vom, so I wouldn't rush to any conclusions.

I'm not expecting grant to flip wolf (I have a somewhat solid town read on him rn) so I'm hoping he can come up with a good explanation. If he fails to do so... I'll lynch him, I guess. But if that happens, I want to look into TheGuy tomorrow, because he is definitely the scummiest player besides grant rn.

I'll just be straight up honest and say that I don't have a cloaking ability. If it says it was blocked, it sounds like it may have been a hooker of some description, though. What was the flavour word for word?
