My alignment is one giant run-on sentence.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 25th, at 23:59 GMT

Bigfoot's argument against Celever seems pretty flawed. I don't think Celever was fishing for what Bigfoot's ability did, and I don't think the Ministry has the ability to make someone's vote weight -1 (at least, we have no reason to think that). I may have missed several points regarding this argument, but I don't feel like looking it up, to be honest. If I thought he had good points when I read the argument the first time, I would've remembered them.

AtA seems like the best case atm. If he is town Dogger can revive.
Or we could try Camo and revive him. Then we would know we can trust him.

Where's the logic there? You haven't expressed any suspicion towards Camo before this, and he will likely die by night kill if we lynch and revive him.

A pick of someone who isn't contributing but posts enough to not get modkilled. We can't get reads like this.

That's a good point teal... After reading all those posts they are all really generic posts with no actual insight.

That's pretty typical for rev. To be honest, I think he's done a better job contributing this game than he usually has.

Also note that he's buddying Teal. If AtA flips scum, we may want to go for Teal tomorrow.

In my experience, players with negative vote weight are usually town. Yes, it's just a vote modifier and isn't tied to a certain faction.

I've actually seen more wolves with negative vote counts than townies. A negative vote weight is pretty useless on a townie, but on a wolf it can help protect a fellow scum member.

Seems like a fake claim, honestly. Being pure-blooded doesn't do anything in the HP Universe, if I remember correctly. And being protected from abilities the Order has seems much more like a wolf power than a townie power. The spell seems more like something a wolf would have than a townie, but not by too much.

Definitely going with the AtA lynch today. I highly doubt he'll flip town at this point.

Edit, 1 run-on sentence, one not so bad sentence. I thought the period was a comma on my scan through.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 25th, at 23:59 GMT

You guys are all gonna feel really stupid when you lynch a townie that you are for sure he's scum lol. Especially MTC who "highly doubts I'm town"
And Celever considering he thinks I cut my flavor
Lol

Single-use Spell: Sectumsempra
The bleeding spell, of your own creation. Once during the game at night, you may PM me a player name. You’ll slash him repeatedly with magical powers and weaken him more than you can ever imagine. That player will die at the end of the following night.
Then it is Snape. Not a surprise.

Uh no. Ata's ability can easily belong to non town and the two of his posts I quoted were ridiculously scummy.
It could be. It also (to my recollection) is not directly related to Sirius in any way. Makes me wary of a safe-claim.

@AtA's role claim:
I too got some weird grammar, but I'm not entirely convinced. As I stated above, the spell does not have significant relation to Sirius. I half expected some relation to Buckbeak, Lupin, or Harry.

Luispipe8 said:
Uhm... yeah, grammar mistakes happen. Dx I tried to check up on those mistakes and fixed a lot, but a couple could have slipped. That would be my bad.

I don't like your attitude about the whole situation. Especially voting yourself? If you're town, you really should start acting like it.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 25th, at 23:59 GMT

@MTC claiming negative votes help scum save their own: This doesn't really work. If a scum is going to vote for another scum, it's going to be so he can look town, not to try and stop the lynch. At that point, scum will just wagon for the sake of wagoning since his bro is probably gonna die anyway.

@Teal who would love to see so much more from me: Sorry, but you won't. I try to check up on this thread but I don't always have time to make large, elaborate posts like Lenny or post 190825735832790 times a day like bbninjas. Those days are gone, I'm afraid.

Personally, it's AtA's behavior that I don't like more than his claim, though his claim is weird as well (a town power that stops other town powers from affecting it? what?). People really need to stop assuming that just because you find a grammar error in a person's claim, then that person is automatically scum. Hosts who aren't me aren't perfect. Yes, it's possible that bad grammar or spelling could be signs of a fake claim, but stop putting so much stock into the little things.

Also, saying a player is useless because their one-shot ability has been used up is not only wrong, but a little insulting, don't you think? Not to mention that if dogger is telling the truth about his role (and AtA flips town) we'll have not one but two confirmed townies to work with (Dogger will be cleared by virtue of the fact that scum won't have revival roles since it goes against their win condition).

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 25th, at 23:59 GMT

Rev3rsor, hello there. Look at AtA's claim. Do you notice something interesting? I'm not talking about grammar here.

Just realized what you're talking about. But, I'd prefer if you explain what that thing is, as I'm very suspicious of you right now.

Quality post, Teal, 10/10

The ones that stand out to me most on there are PMJ and Drohn. They are good players that usually contribute more so that confuses me. Idk what drohns scum meta is so keep an eye out on him. As for pmj this doesn't look like his scum game but unusual nonetheless. The others are just being meh (or a few ridiculously inactive like hw)

PMJ isn't usually more active than this, especially not in the early stages of the game. I notice he tends to get more active once he's 100% positive he's on to something, but I actually think PMJ is normally pretty quiet. His activity level in this game doesn't stand out to me at all.

Speaking of activity levels, addressing Teal who wants to hear more from me, you won't for a few days because it's the holiday season. I have family visiting and I highly doubt I'll make the time to come online for extended periods of time. In addition to this, I'm actually not that inactive. I posted yesterday+the day before like 15 times!! (That might be pushing it but you get my point). I'm not trying to be inactive, it's just that I've been afk for ~24 hours and like 5 new pages of 50 posts each went up in that amount of time that I need to go read now. Which I will do.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 25th, at 23:59 GMT

Welp, I'm a bit late to the discussion.

In reference to my posts, I don't see anything different with what I'm doing this game, posting when I have something to say. Partly because of the 5 post thing, I've been trying to make at least a couple of posts a day to say what I think of what's going on. (also because of a few days of playing mafia irl, I figured it would be a good idea as town to say more and be more helpful.)

For now I'm not sure whether to believe AtA. I'm guessing that he was (most likely) telling the truth about his spell, since he used it and it... generally seems believable, but he seems to have given up now, which I'm not sure about. I guess it would be somewhat natural to, but imo a town player would (should? not sure) want to defend themselves stronger as to help everybody. I'm still undecided, so I won't vote yet.

RE: Werewolf XXIV: The Wizarding War - Day 2 ends December 25th, at 23:59 GMT

Just to clarify, I wasn't trying to escape without saying anything, just that I was a little bit busy and took a while to write up my post.

...also I overlooked the fact that he role-claimed, not just ability. oops. I do agree that his flavour is a bit dodgy, as pointed out before, but the role itself seems alright to me (as in, nothing seems particularly unusual). I take it that the capitalisation of "threats" in the wincon was a mistake, or is that a scum slip?

Either way, my vote's on him now. ##VOTE: AlexanderTheAwesome

(please don't take my oversight as anything but an oversight; it's easy to miss a spoiler, especially since it didn't work when quoted in post 902.)

Wouldn't AtA budding Teal also be a sign of the opposite? AtA either trying to get clearance whenever Teal get's lynched or killed (assuming he is) or to bring him done when AtA flips anti-town?

My Wincon uses a capital 'T' in Threats.

Honestly I find AtA's role somewhat strange, as well as his character somewhat undecided alignment wise. His ability is a bit weird, and not very townie, although Teal kindly made roles like that in WWXXIII...
