Day 7

It had seemed like the sun just rose and the villagers woke up hungry for blood. Paranoia about the souls in the box was getting to everyone, especially Thomas Martin. He pointed at a man and said "You! You're the last one! You're the reason the souls will come after us!"

Other villagers were quick to support Martin, and the sun hadn't even reached its apex by the time a decision was made. Martin's victim was locked behind bars until his evening execution. The man knew this fate was inevitable, and opted not to defend himself.

The sun was setting and the guillotine was prepared. The man was escorted to the guillotine - the final memory of his life. With a bag over his head, his head was place in the hole. The blade fell down like a mighty waterfall and he was killed instantly. This man was thegrovylekid.

You are Casey Watkins, and you are aligned with the mafia. You've gone on plenty of missions for the boss and survived wounds that, in honesty, should have killed you. You are one hardy son of a gun, which makes you the perfect person to ascend to power now that the boss is locked up.

Active Ability: Magician
Once a game during any night you may PM me to use this ability. If you do, you may not use any other Active Abilities in the same night. The timer that opens Pandora's Box will be set back by ten.

You are Thomas Martin, and you are aligned with the town. A survivor of the Canton Falls incident, you have become famous for bringing the story of the Canton Falls Werewolf to the outside world. Now, with the gypsy having led you to this cursed city, you're after your next big scoop. You're confident, brave, and determined to get the news out, one way or another.

You were beaten up during the night. Until you can recover, you have no abilities other than your vote.

You think your sister is nuts for wanting to deal with a bunch of hormonal, angsty teens all day, but you suppose that at least she can have meaningful conversations with her students and not have to worry about watching her damn mouth in class. Sometimes you and your sister get into the occasional argument. You aren't speaking to her right now, but at least you can rest assured you're on the same side.

You are Randolph Briggs, and you are aligned with the town. You're a beat cop here in Kara's Vale, doin' God's work for goin' on two years now. A devout Christian and family man, you are disgusted with the way crime has run rampant in Kara's Vale. Still, a small part of you likes to believe that there is good in everyone and, with a bit of prayer and repentance, everyone can be saved.

Active Ability: Investigate
Once a game at any time you may PM me the names of three players. If you successfully use the Ability, the timer will increase by 20. You will learn the alignments of the players you chose.

The village had done it. The impending doom was over. They could return to their lives! Well, the few of them left that is. They opted not to rebuild Kara's Vale, and instead chose to let it slowly die. After all, why would anyone want to live in such a cursed town? Those remaining gathered their belongings, and said their goodbyes. They had once hated each other and fought tooth and nail to stay alive, but their ordeals had given them a sense of camaraderie. With Kara's Vale now empty, the villagers set off into the sunset, looking to find new adventures in, hopefully, peaceful times.

The irony is, if I still had my passive ability, the mafia would have won. As I said before, I had a blast, see you all in Ωmega ålpha!
 
One of the best games I've been in so far, and I think it's the first one I finish alive. :p (IHNI if I survived TheGuy's).

I'm just glad that Thomas Martin survived to report another day. What supernatural phenomena will be take on next, I wonder?

Good game to everyone who played! I seriously thought that the town was finished near the end, but we managed to pull through.

As I said in the QT, good game, and great modding on PMJ's side.

TT, you need to be a bit more careful when announcing man. That "journalist extraordinaire" gave you away from the beginning.

Anyway, congrats town.
