I love how canonically the me/Drac dynamic makes sense because Maya can't speak when she's channeling Mia, so it was funny when a normally inactive player drew Maya :p

Anyways, shout outs to @GM DracLord and @Robin Aisaga for being QT buddies, it was fun to talk with you guys!

Other shout outs to:
@Miyami~~ for playing even though she doesn't like PB and complained to me at every opportunity about having to play but sucking it up and making the most of her one day in the game. (And yes, chances are slim of her coming back)
@Celever for not being really mad after my horrible wagon, I promise never to do that to you again <3
@Camoclone for tricking me with a strategy to find out Phoenix to the scumteam
@quakingpunch73 and @double o squirtle for great hosting and giving me probably my favourite role I've ever had

Ayyyyy we won

Some thoughts, but first, wow, what a scum team.

(Lynch all liars is a stupid rule)
The premise behind LAL is that town generally has no reason to lie, and if a player is caught in one, the offending player should be policy lynched. Exceptions can be made when the player is trying to gambit, but that depends on the success of the gambit. In grant's case, he was not trying to gambit and straight up lied, so there was a reason to lynch him. In your case, that was a successful gambit, although you have to be careful when doing that. Many times new town will lie in order to save other players only to have it blow up in their faces. One time Celever lied about being able to self-protect as a doctor and was able to draw in the scum's night kill, saving the town a night. You gotta know when it's worth it.

Future hosts please strongly consider not making a role like TGK's again. That is one thing that helped town a lot and it basically forces scum to spam. It's not really fun for anyone. The idea that it forces people to pay attention after death is sound but it has many other flaws.
Would you mind sharing these flaws? I rather liked his role, although I agree that scum's best plan is just to spam and de-rat derail discussion. I also agree that it's really powerful.

I was kinda sad that I was too far from being able to use my locked ability

This is another thing I wanted to make mention of, on both this role and PP's role. There was no way that they were going to activate any of their abilities, looks like Drac needed to get targeted like seven times over the course of a game to open his power? That's ridiculous. Limit that kind of stuff to just one targeting, if any.

Golden PMJ Awards for WW33 go to:

@Celever for actually being scum this game, it's about time
@Robin Aisaga and @PikaMasterJesi for being new and actually participating all the way to the end. I hope you guys continue playing; too many times I have seen people sign up, play one game, and then dip out, never to be seen again.
@Reinforce for his stellar play on the last day
Me, for being cool enough for the scum team to waste their jan on
@Camoclone for tricking tgk, for doing his damndest to try and convince the town I was indie, and for all the rat spam in the dead chat
@thegrovylekid for being tricked and also for being active. His role was a powerful one and it was good to see it in the hands of an active player.
@double o squirtle and @quakingpunch73 for a good job hosting. The only thing worse than an inattentive player is an inattentive host.

Looking forward to the next game :>

Been reading the mafia chat, and it is amazing to see how much of an asset Reinforce was for the scum team.

  • Obviously it allows the dead town members to still communicate. This makes the night kill solely about roles, reducing its effectiveness by a lot. Also in setups with information-based roles it gives them no incentive to claim early. A seer is in no danger of being unable to relay their knowledge.
  • If scum tries to take advantage of it (the way I did) then town can easily manipulate the scum team back. You were planning on doing something similar. You can say I posted a message and use the same secret format I did.
  • TGK isn't easy to kill. It's very hard to get rid of him.
  • TGK becomes confo-town plus he can vote plus he isn't easy to kill.
  • Scum is forced to spam and troll. That isn't really fun for anyone.
  • TGK didn't even have to share his info with the game thread (putting scum at an even bigger disadvantage).

Ahh, makes sense. Thanks!

If/When my game goes up, if it's any motivation for people to play (let alone get the submission accepted), I'll do my best to do a postgame and I'll try my best to even compile it into a story! You know, because I like writing and stuff.

Why don't people do their postgames? Are they just too focussed on playing the next game, or is it IRL commitments, or just laziness? Anyways, I hope this one goes up (and I think it will), because I wanna see how well I did and others and how I fit all into it!
